picked this one up at the brew pub a few weeks ago when i visited. enjoyed from my FFF teku.
a - brew poured a semi-transparent orange with a thin bubbly head that was gone fairly quickly leaving a ring on the surface of the glass and some streaky lacing.
s - cloves, banana, belgian candy. some citricness in the background.
t - nice boozy fruitiness. not classic by any means for the style, but not bad. sweetness is tamed back with fruitiness. the fruitiness is pleasant and enjoyable.
m - a bit hot and fizzy. medium to light bodied.
o - overall, nice fuitiness. not classic for the style, but good none-the-less.

Thanks B!
A - Pours a hazy light orange with yellow edges. 3/4 of an inch light tan head forms that fades slowly.
S - Bannana, Belgian spice-peppery and lemons.
T - Just like the nose. More leom and orange citrus in the finish.
D - Good carbonation with a lighter body.
O - Light citrus forward Belgian pale, very solid.

22 ounce bottle into signature teku glass, 2012 bottling. Pours hazy golden orange color with a fairly dense 1 finger white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big orange, peach, pear, apple, pineapple, orange zest, floral, grass, candi sugar, honey, clove, light pepper, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/spicy notes. Taste of orange, peach, pineapple, pear, apple, floral, clove, honey, candi sugar, light pepper, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of orange, peach, pineapple, pear, apple, floral, clove, honey, candi sugar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of fruity ester flavors; good balance of malt and light spicy esters; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a fairly slick and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent and unique Belgian strong pale ale. All around nice complexity and balance of fruity flavors with malt and light spicy esters; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

A: Clear. Lighter shade of orangey amber in color. Forms a moderate sized white head that reduces down to a patchy surface coating. Some light lacing.
S: Not overly aromatic, but smells fairly "Belgian." Candy and clove. Mild spicy quality. Sweet, with a good dose of candied orange peel.
T: Taste is similar, though the sweetness is more restrained. Fruity with notes of orange peel, mild spice, and a slight touch of toast. Turns a hair bit earthy and moderately alcoholic on the finish.
M: Medium bodied. Smooth and slick. Lower carbonation. Slightly spicy. Mild bitterness.
O: Not a bad beer at all and certainly one I wouldn't mind having again, but at $12/bottle I can think of other Belgian Pale Ales I rather buy.
