Had this on tap Christmas eve at Three Floyds.
Served in an imperial pint.
A: Poured a crystal clear, soft orange color, with ever the slightest chill haze, and about a 1.5 finger head.
S: Up front, I got some melted orange popsicle, FFF signature hop profile, along with a really nice hop-yeast combo/duo.
T: I tasted a good bit of booze actually an this totally took me aback. However, this was of the candy-coated variety that Floyds does so well. Lots of Germanic (Saaz?) hops along with a bitter finish.
M: Like I said, this was boozier than I was expecting, or should I just say that that was just the breath of alcohol warming poking through? No matter. Bubbly as hell and lots of lacing.
O: I chugged this one pretty quick, so thumbs up in my book!

On-tap at 3 Floyds. Served in a stein.
A - White foam settles to a thick collar, partial cap, and bit of lacing. Transparent golden straw body.
S - Cereal grains, bready malts, spicy noble hops, and some fruity notes as well. It's got that lager 'twang' to it.
T - The taste is again heavy on the bready malts, with fruity accents and some honey malt sweetness. Fairly low hop flavor and bitterness.
M - Pleasant active carbonation, medium-light body, creamy texture, and a dry, crisp, finish.
D - Pretty much what you'd expect from this style, but not really much else to say here. If you're in a German mood, or at FFF with a colleague who only drinks lager, this is a solid choice. However, there are about 10 other beers I'd pick before this one.

Served in a stein.
A - Pale, straw yellow with a nice one finger head. As you'd expect for the style, it appears a bit thin
S - Light straw and noble hops with a slight bready malt
T - Sweet, bready malt up front with a nice light noble hop kick in the middle. The finish is straw and light noble hops. The strong hops add a nice twist to make this a good beer in what can be an otherwise bland style
MF - Medium carbonation that gives a smooth and surprisingly full mouthfeel. I did not expect this to be as a smooth as this one was. A pleasant surprise
O - Leave it to FFF to put a nice twist on an otherwise normal style. Has a nice balance between sweet, bready malt and a slight hoppy kick.
