Tap at the source served in a snifter. I have had this beer two or three times and each time i ask if this is the one with raspberries because the taste has a very slight tartness. The aroma is carmel and bourbon. The taste has a very noticeable carbonation with the finish of some dark tart fruit. Carmel combines with bourbon to give a very nice taste. Another solid barrel aged beer from floyds

On-tap at FFF
A - Medium to dark brown with a slight red tinge. Came out with an inch of off-white head that slowly disappeared. Looks like it has a lighter body
S - Smells of caramel malt, light caramel, vanilla, and oak. This isn't the raspberry version but I feel like there are hints of this as well. I can't tell if that's my wishful thinking or if it is actually there
T - Vanilla and caramel are up front as the sweetness dominates at first. There is oak that comes in stronger near the end with a slight cherry that comes from the bourbon. The oak lingers slightly on the tongue in the finish.
MF - Nice carbonation that makes it feel full and smooth. A nice light medium body. Has a strong oak, bourbon flavor that lingers in the tongue.
O - It's like Robert the Bruce but better. Has a nice oak, vanilla presence that adds a lot to the beer and makes it a bit sweeter. I wish I would have had the raspberry version as I'm sure it would have been even better.
