Reviewed from notes
A: pours a golden yellow with a 2 finger white head with good retention, leaves a small amount of lacing
S: mainly yeasty and pale malts, some citrus hops and a hint of sweet fruit
T: bready/doughy malt, citrus hops, sweet citrus fruit like sweet lemons, hoppy bitterness lingers for a bit
MF: fairly light bodied, moderate carbonation, somewhat dry finish
O: interesting beer, a little hoppier than I expected but still very good. I would really like to try this one again.

slightly hazy golden yellow pour with a finger of bright white head, nice amount of lacing. sells of sweet pilsner malt, honey, lager yeast, cereal, slight citrusy scent. mellow herbal bitterness up front, nice pilsner sweet bready malt, lemongrass. very refreshing, sweet, and bready. medium body but crisp and refreshing like a light body beer with high carbonation yet a nice sweet creamy mouthfeel. this is a very nice beer.
i really love this style, compared to what regular pils beers are like they blow them outta the water. this, along with new glarus' and the sierra nevada beer camp imperial pils are my top 3. this one probably being at #1.

Bottle poured into a FFF Tulip
A - Golden with a slight haze to it. A big straw white head that settles down to a layer of foam that sits on top.
S - Straw, corn and bready. A malt defined nose.
T - Slight pine / hop bitterness that hits up front before a bready malt comes in. There is the normal straw I find in pilsners as well. There is a slight bitterness that comes thru in the finish as well.
MF - It definitely has a slight thickness that makes it chewy. There is a slight syrupiness to it as well. Definitely on the thicker side for a pils but I guess that makes it imperial.
O - A bit hoppy for a pilsner and definitely thicker. I like the effort to make this imperial but a thicker / bigger pilsner doesn't necessarily work as well as it does for IPAs. If it had this flavor without being so thick, I think I'd like this a lot more.

Hazy golden orange, frothy white foam on the surface, some minor flecks of lace in the glass.
Soft lemony aroma, very pleasant with a little angelfood cake in there too adding complexity.
Lemon and shortbread flavors, smooth and full bodied though crisp and drinkable. Lightly bitter hops seem almost balanced in the mix. This is great, wish it was in six packs instead of overpriced bombers.
