Drank 4 days fresh, poured into a a 12 oz tulip glass.

Appearance: Semi-hazy copper color, head is 2 fingers and pure white.

Smell: Pure Citra hops. Pine, floral, grassy, and clean.

Taste: Ahh, unlike so many beers whose smell's write checks their taste can't cash, ZD devliers full throttle. The Citra is in your face the whole way, with massive tasting and bittering hops. Almost no malt backbone to this one. No sweetness at all to speak of. If you hate Citra hops, this isn't the beer for you.

Mouthfeel: Clean, crisp, moderate to high carbonation, but still quite smooth. Very dry and leaves the palate craving more.

Overall: As close to perfect as you can get for this style. While I personally prefer an IPA with more body and a little more malt, the hop presence in this beer surpasses that of most IPAs, even DIPAs. I guess technically an APA, it'd be hard not to call this an IPA. If you like your IPAs dry, clean, crisp, and ultra-hoppy, you won't find better.

Bottle into a pint glass with no date, thanks much to Arsenal0328 for the Dust!

A: Golden amber orange, big three finger slighlty off white head that retains to a skim, excellent lacing left on the glass.

S: Big hop smell with lots of oranges, lemons, candied citrus and a little bit of pine. Decent caramel malt sweetness in there as well. Really good smelling brew.

T: Right upfront it hits you with a firm, dry hop bitterness with oranges, lemons and grapefruit peel, also some citrus as well. Malt does a decent job at keeping it balanced but the hops win in the end, still very drinkable all things considered.

M: Lighter end of medium, good crispness, very easily drinkable.

O: Damn I wish we got FFF here in MA, this is just an awesome Pale Ale, love the single citra hop, really showcases well with this brew ans overall its very tasty. The only thing I'm gunna knock it for is not having a bottle date.
