One of the best beers i have ever had. Totally delivers on the reputation.
Goods : Aroma, Taste, Feel, quaffability.
Appearance: Poured from a 12 oz bottle into snifter. Pale honey colored. Hazy. Few bubbles. Excellent lacing on the sides. Over one finger thick head of off white color. Decent standing.
Aroma: Very strong citrus and flowery aroma. Some wild weed like and grassy. Aroma is so inviting and strong that it puts a lot of IPAs to shame. Grape fruit, piney hops are dominant.
An aroma so strong that it mesmerizes you and never fades.
Taste: Very solid bitterness. Not overly bitter but gives a punch nonetheless. Strong mango presence. Built up on a good malt backbone that keeps the final bitterness totally at bay. Very well balanced example of craft brew.
Mouth feel : Smooth and without any astringency. Extremely easy beer to drink. Moderate carbonation, makes me have some burrps. Very oily and herbal mouth feel. Medium to slightly light body.
This is one beer that invites you to try it as soon as you pop open the bottle and then embraces you into its arms and takes you on a ride to wonderland. A brew i can drink all day without any issue and i would love to do so. So easy in fact that i drank 4 bottles in a go out of my first six pack. And that was when i have had tasting of over 30 beers of super high ABVs. Just pretty well done brew that is the epitome of craft brewing. Very solid aromatics at display and an equally good flavor.

Bottle into a pint glass with no date, thanks much to Arsenal0328 for the Dust!
A: Golden amber orange, big three finger slighlty off white head that retains to a skim, excellent lacing left on the glass.
S: Big hop smell with lots of oranges, lemons, candied citrus and a little bit of pine. Decent caramel malt sweetness in there as well. Really good smelling brew.
T: Right upfront it hits you with a firm, dry hop bitterness with oranges, lemons and grapefruit peel, also some citrus as well. Malt does a decent job at keeping it balanced but the hops win in the end, still very drinkable all things considered.
M: Lighter end of medium, good crispness, very easily drinkable.
O: Damn I wish we got FFF here in MA, this is just an awesome Pale Ale, love the single citra hop, really showcases well with this brew ans overall its very tasty. The only thing I'm gunna knock it for is not having a bottle date.
