I'm not really into IPA's. But this one is very good. It has that usual grassy taste that most IPA's seem to shoot for. But this one tastes like it's a couple cuts above the norm. It's very flavorful, floral and sweet. I didn't have the cap off completely, I just let some air out and you could immediately smell its fruity bouquet. If you like IPA's you'll probably love this.

Thanks to Boilermakerryan for this one!
A - Pours a hazy golden straw orange with nearly 2 fingers of light, fluffy tan colored head. Nice retention, fantastic lacing!
S - Tons of sweet juicy fruits (much more so than the dreadnaught I had yesterday). Tons of mango, pineapple, grapefruit citrus. Reminiscent of the dreadnaught for sure, but much less resinous and wayyyy more juicy sweet/citrusy.
T - Lots of citrusy grapefruit and pineapple flavors with a nice wet bitter hoppyness. Astringent hops and mild alcohol flavors come in. Slight pepper and lots of mango/pineapple/juicy fruits follow immediately. The aftertaste is bitter, astringent hops with some sweet sharp citrus (lemon-like).
M - Medium bodied, the bitter fruityness makes it quite refreshing and drinkable even at 9% and semi-thick. Appropriate/someone heavy carbonation.
O - Fantastic! Enjoyed this one more than Dreadnaught (although I really loved them both). I'm thinking of this as a 2 hearted ale on steriods (big time).

22oz bomber poured into wine glass.
Appearance-pours hazy light apricot. With a 1 inch white head, that goes away rather quickly. Little lacing around but some shows up from time to time. 4
Aroma-very heavy tropical citrus, mainly mango and pineapple. Some hints of orange peel in there too. A little lemon, but the tropical notes are the main feature. 4.25
Taste-smooth apricot is the first to come thru. Then more of the sweeter malty side shows up. I'm getting lots of brown sugar. Later the bitterness returns strong. This has everything you could want in a DIPA. Very happy with the taste. 4.75
Feel-lower than full bodied but only slightly. Lots of carbonation on the tounge. Alcohol comes thru strong. 4.25
Overall-very happy with this purchase, it's a little pricey for a bomber but worth it. Three Floyd's just kill it with these IPA's. this one seems to be around Ohio the most, every time I see it I will most likely purchase from here on out. Great mix of sweet and bitter. 4.5

Fresh 2013 bottle, much thanks to Nate Shandy.
Appearance: Hazy, straw colored, blonde unfiltered goodness with a small white head that quickly recedes to the perimeter.
Smell: Sweet citrus, (mango and orange), bready malt, sweet citrus, pine.
Taste: Matches the nose nicely. The nice malt backbone with that typical Three Floyds hop profile is what I expected, and what I got.
Piney hops with a subtle mango/citrus sweetness overlay the malt nicely. The mango sweetness from the hops fades as the finish begins; then the pine and malt fade out nicely together.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and sticky as hell with ample carbonation.
Overall: I love FFF IPAs, because they have a pretty distinct hop profile that is very different and distinct at the same time. This beer is no different; another great offering that I'd love to have again.
