First 3F brew i have had, got a bunch of different ones from a recent trade to try.

Alpha King Pale Ale was a very enjoyable beer, especially seeing that i don't usually drink pale ale. But upon pouring this one wiht its off brown color and massive white head, the smell really drew me into this beer. Seemed to have more hop smell and flavor than most pale ales i have had in the past, and i am guessing that is why i liked it so much. Very lingering taste on the pallate, and the abv was a lot higher than i thought it was, hidden very well in this one.

I have 6 other 3F beers to try in the next couple of weeks in the fridge, gonna do 1 a day to really enjoy them, i'm guessing this is just the tip of the iceberg for me and this brewery!

This is probably the best APA I have ever had. Pours a nice creamy amber with a very intense hop character. THe best I can find for this style. If you can find it, I highly recommend it. Since it's in my home state, we have pride in our Indiana brewer and brewpub.

Appearance-
A copper brown, with a finger white head that leaves excellent lacing.

Smell-
Light floral pine, followed by a buttery malt.

Taste-
Strangely, I found it to start with the malt, move to the bitter side of the hops, then to the floral, then to the buttery side of the malt.

Mouthfeel-
Not as crisp as I was hoping, there is a heavier presence than expected.

Overall-
A flavorful APA that does not end the night.
