Thank you again Scubarex for this fantastic brew in my SS BIF box

A: the head just does not exist which for me is disappointing but at 15% not surprising the body is a very turbulent hazy sunrise of a color. almost like wet hay and straw.

S: the smell is a bit sweet and syrupy, almost cloying, but not bad. there is definitely that cough syrupy sorta aroma, but not so over powering that it dominates the whole show

T: there is a certain sugary sweetness that like the aroma is syrupy in taste but less viscous on the finish there is an apparent malt and caramel backbone that is pushed back by the almost candied fruit taste, most noticeably is the green apple and a prune or raisin taste.

M/D: one think i will have to say, is at 15% you would expect this beer to be a bit of a bear, but its not overly boozy and is really easy on the finish. it has that dried and sugared fruit thing going on, but that's fine and if it is your thing you will love this beer

Thanks to 3Floyds JOHN who broke open a bomber of this at this years 2012 Flossmoor BA scotch and Imperial Schwartz release on DLD eve.

A- Deep amber color. The ABV on this keeps the head minimal. The lacing is almost non existent.

S- I smell bananna and hops along with some hints of malt and cloves

T- For an old ass beer it has held up pretty nicely.Tasting bready banana.

M- Heavy mouthfeel and there is a little kick and the end

This was a total suprise and I'm thankful to have tried it! Cheers John!

Thanks again to dschuster03 for the share.

A - Toffee colored beer with a bit of an off-white head that left a little bit of ghostly stick and didn't stay for very long.

S - Lots of burnt and caramelized sugars, toffee, and booze. There's some yeasty ethers there that are reminiscent of caramelized banana. Smells very sweet, potent, and rich.

T - Nicely fruity and sugary with a bit of booze. Really tastes like this is something that's going to stick to your teeth. Some slight banana like flavor in with the caramel and toffee.

M - Lower carbonation, syrupy, pretty full bodied, all fitting the style.

O - A nice beer, it's a bit over the top, but sometimes you need a beer like that. Definitely one to share, between the alcohol and the sweetness it's hard to drink tons. Would like to have again, particularly if I'm in the mood for something that clocks in at 15%.
