Style | ABV
American Pale Ale (APA) |  5.00% ABV

Availability: Year-round. bottle (567), on-tap (56), growler (6), cask (6)

Notes:
5.0% ABV, 30 IBUs - This beer is 3 Floyd’s American “Mild” Ale. With a more assertive hop profile that British Milds and a relatively low alcohol content this is a great session beer that still has Pale Ale characteristics. Pride and Joy is a golden color with a fruity nose and a light caramel sweetness to balance the crisp finish. A truly refreshing ale that drinks easily.

A: clear copper with a one finger head.

S: citrus, grapefruit. very floral with a touch of earth and orange zest. Very clean. Some nice honeysuckle and pine coming through near the end.

T: Light citrus right away. Lemon zest and caramel with a slightly bitter finish. The finish is the best part and where all the flavor comes in. Lots of lemon and honeysuckle.

M: Light and crisp. its clean and easy drinking. A great session beer.

O: Fantastic aroma. A light beer that you could easily drink 12 of. A great mouthfeel with a memorable finish. /89

Enjoyed on tap at Wild Monk. Served in a shaker pint.

A: Pours a clear golden yellow color with a thin white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thing ring that leaves some splotchy soapy lace behind.

S: Light fruity hops with some mild citrus notes. Sweet bread malt. A little dash of caramel.

T: Nicely hopped with some grass notes and fruity berry. Mild sweetness from the malts, a little caramel with some lingering hop bitterness.

M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation level. Slightly sweet finish.

O: Nicely balanced with a high drinkability. Not the best FFF beer as I'd much rather take a ZD or Alpha King over this, but it's still a nice, low ABV option.

A - Golden/Amber, translucent, huge white fluffy head, light patchy lacing, constant carbonation rising

S - Citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, carmel

T - Light citrus, malt, carmel, barley, earthy, mod sweet hop finish

M - med body, frothiness is real good, viscosity is low

O - Very nice session beer. Body isn't too heavy and a nice relaxing feel. Wish there was more citrus, less malt, liked the low ABV, very nice nose - overall very refreshing - good for any occasion.
