Pours a nice copper haze with little carbonation. I get sweet malts and fresh citrus hops off the nose, a hint of grapefruit and passionfruit.

This is remarkably easy to drink, a fantastic malt base and nicely blended hops throughout. Not hugely bitter, well blended and balanced. Could almost session this brew cus of the drinkability of the wonderfully balanced sweet malts and nice subtle hops. . A little too high to session in terms of abv.

Great job by a local brewery just starting up. This was my first experience with this brewer, and I will say I wasn't disappointed.

Cheers!!

On tap @ twisted rooster.

A- Amber, with almostca burgundy tint. Minimal thin white head.
S- Combo of sweet & sour, but very balanced. Definitely a hoppy smell.
T- Grapefruit, bready, w/ clear citrus hops on the back.
M- mid to full bodied.
O- A pretty decent IPA. Above average for sure, & definitely worth a try, but not the best.

A nice American IPA, a bit too heavy on the cascade for my taste. That white grapefruit rind character makes for a pleasant nose, but when that type of bitterness starts to obscure other aspects of the beer, it gets a bit unbalanced. There is a nice estery quality that can be discerned past the grapefruit that has floral and slight bubble gum character. The finish is on the dry side with a bitterness that seems to be more of a malt character than a hop character (sort of what you might expect from the addition of rye).

Appearance: misty amber body with an off-white head and on the lacing front … not much. The little bit that there is clings to the glass.

Aroma: nice citrus nose reminding me of a citrus peel, sweet grains, sour bread; as it warms the citrus note reminds me of white grapefruit

Flavors: sweet-sour going on; pink grapefruit with a white grapefruit bite, sweet grains, sour dough bread, toasted caramel malts,

Mouthfeel: oily hops, sweet-sour, bitter notes hit the mid and finish, lingering citrus bite on the aftertaste,

To the Point: I had this ale at a local South Lyon Michigan Pub and they told me the brewery was down the road. Somehow I found my way there. Strange how that happens. I like this IPA. If you live in the area it is worth the drive – they have some other great flavors to try.

A- A hazy, luminescent orange liquid with a thick and craggy bone white head that has amazing retention. Perfect for the style.

S- Orange rind, flowers, pine, mint, and caramel. Pretty well rounded and intriguing.

T- Orange rind, pine, flowers, and caramel. A little more subtle than the aroma implied.

M- A creamy, slightly oily body. Seems a touch undercarbonated.

O- A very solid IPA that is a bit on the mellow side but drinks really nicely.
