On-tap served in a pint glass at Taproom, Bangkok.
Mildly hazed deep golden hue which turns to be clear at last, it tops with one and a half finger of foamy tan head that builds to stand with decent retention. It dissipates to some long-lasting bubble sheet atop and leaves small lacing. The head and lacing should be more considering it is Belgian's style.
The aromas of Chardonnay barrel with notes of white grape, spice, boozy, and oaky. Some fruity sourness and tartness that is reminiscent of apple, pear, and orange as well as some acidic. Some chalky yeast and sweet malty dough too.
The taste is dominated also by the characters of its time in the Chardonnay barrel with suggestions of white grape, spicy, oaky, and woody barrel. Alcohol yields sweetness, some heat, and spiciness in the middle together with malt with its sweet dough and toasted bread. There is also fruity ester to bring more complexity with notes of apple and orange, quite complex overall.
Medium body with some carbonation that is proper to carry all the things well smoothly, dry finish. This one is quite hefty and complex brew, good for sipping and slowly enjoying its deep delicacy.

Pretty musty, like the bottom of your tee-shirt drawer.
