On tap the day of release at the brewpub, served in a Mug.
Pour: Completely hazy, nearly cloudy deep orange, with a finger of white soapy head. Some lacing, but only just.
Smell:. Huge grapefruit and orange, followed by a biscuity, honey sweetness. That's about all, and it's very nice.
Taste: Doesn't follow the nose as much, but hop profile provides solid grapefruit and citrus. As with most GB beer, I find this to be too sweet, with a heavy honey and biscuit aspect.
Mouthfeel: Super juicy and refreshing. Goes down easy.
Overall: Great beer, one of the best I've had from GB. But per the usual, there is something lacking, or perhaps too much added.
Serving type: on-tap
