A: light head; solid lacing; dark brown in color
S: coffee bitter on the nose; slightly caramel too
T: really solid coffee flavor; malty, bitter, all about the dark roast/Sumatran coffee blend flavorwise
M: really smooth overall, balanced and lightly carbonated
Overall: I believe this is GB's answer to the ever-popular Founders Breakfast Stout, if only unintentionally. Quality offering

Had on tap at Bad Apple. Served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a dark black color with a tan head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thin cap that leaves some sticky lace down the glass.
S: Notes of chocolate and light espresso. The nose is pretty roasty well. Dried cocoa.
T: The taste has an even more roasted malt presence. Dark chocolate with a light milk chocolate. Coffee grounds with some dark fruit notes, anise and light lactose sugar.
M: Medium to heavy bodied, silky and smooth. Medium carbonation level with dry roast finish.
O: Definitely one of the better milk stouts I've ever had. Super roasty and dry with complex flavors. Hopefully I'll come across this again in the near future.

Bottle from the brewery, 12oz into a tulip. Thanks CWBlues!
Deep brown, almost black with a mocha head. Creamy retention and a sheets of lacing. Nose has a large dose of coffee beans, chocolate tones, subtle green/herbal qualities. A bit creamy, some sweet malt . Taste is almost completely coffee, roasty and bitter finish. Very mild sweetness on the palate, this one finishes dry and the coffee lingers for quite some time. Alcohol is hidden, medium-full body. A good beer, coffee dominates but some complexity otherwise could've added - a bit one-dimensional and I love coffee beers.

Wasn't going to review this beer, but after reading what others have written, I wanted to speak my piece.
Appearance: Pours a pitch black with a wonderfully fluffy mocha colored head that sticks around the edge of the glass wonderfully. The lacing is fantastic.
Smell: Big nose of coffee with some sweet lactose notes. Some real nice roasted notes coming through.
Taste: Has some really nice coffee notes. A bit one dimensional with the coffee and roasted barley notes, bu that's exactly what it is, so I won't knock it.
Mouth: Really nice mouthfeel. I feel like I've drank some really nice coffee. A bit dry, but crisp. Some good creamy texture initially.
Drink and overall: I'm a big fan of this beer, and that is why I had to review it. I think it's a really nice coffee stout, and Greenbush deserves a pat on the back for this guy.

This beer poured out as a deep black color with a quick fading brown head on top. The retention was minimal and there wasn't much lacing either. The smell of the beer gives off a nice coffee aroma with a subtle sweetness on the nose as well. The taste is bold upfront with a coffee kick that settles into the milky sweetness of the beer. There is a subtle bitter chocolate flavor in there too. The mouthfeel wasn't heavy at all, it was actually lighter than expected. The carbonation was decent and the beer maintains a good drinkablity. Overall this was a pretty good stout, I would drink this one again.

On tap at O'Rourkes in South Bend, IN at the Greenbush tap takeover on 8/15/12. Served in a GB snifter.
Pour: Pitch black with a finger and a half tan head. Leaves a light lacing.
Smell: A light chocolate with an intense coffee aspect. A lot of dark fruit in the back, with some raisons and figs.
Taste: Chewey figs and raisons up front to the max. Some roasted aspects, and a light chocolate as well. Too much dark fruit as it warms. Way more than a sweet stout should typically showcase.
Mouthfeel: A sipper, but creamy and good. Honestly, the taste makes this hard to drink.
Overall: Pretty forgettable in my opinion. Not sure if this was brewed again since the collab, or if this keg has been aging, but either way, I did not enjoy it.
