Grayton Pale is a refreshing, American-style Pale flavor—breezy and cool in a way that’s utterly unique to the Grayton Beach area. Which means it has enough flavor to keep even the hoppiest hopheads coming back for more. Tune in and drink up.

From the bottle, it pours a nice golden color with a modest head, soon diminishing to a ring and continent, with some bubbles streaming from the bottom. The nose gets some citrus - yum! The mouth gets a just-hoppy malt beer. Nice!

Built for the beach, Grayton brewers cover all the bases with a crisp, clean and refreshing beer with bold hop flavor and aroma, along with a balance of malt for an all occasion taste and an all occasion crowd.
Simply named Grayton Pale Ale, the beachy beer pours a soft golden color and cast with a slight haze. A moderate hop perfume of grapefruit, spruce and orange brightens the nose before a medium caramel, honey and an overall sense of bready granola come to mind with a single sip.
As the ale travels across the middle palate, its sweetness wavers slightly and its taste tightens to a slight savory and nutty malt complement. But the rise of hops bring a heightened taste of pink grapefruit, fresh orange zest and an herbal, nearly grassy and piney taste. Moderately bitter on the late palate, the pine grows into a resinous bite of muddled pine needle.
Medium bodied and effortless on the palate, the ale trails into a bittersweet finish of caramel and citrus rind. A medium length linger leaves an impression of the types of American pale ale that put the style on the craft beer map in the middle to late 1990's.

It pours a golden yellow color with a nice foamy head that has good staying power, nice also g also. The smell is fruity with a citrus aroma but hops also breaking through. The taste is mild citrus then a hop bite to it. The hops are suttle but enough to give it a bite. Overall a nice drink to end the day with.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle: bright and clear, a golden-yellow hue with a foamy and sustained white head. The bottled on date stamped on the back label was smeared so I don't know the freshness. Also very change is the front label states this ale is 5.6 % ABV while the back label states 5.7 percent. I guess they are just making sure they cover it.
Very refreshing aroma of fruit and some noble hops.
Flavors of mango and marmalade initially as well as a bready taste similar to a lager; while hops are prevalent, there is minimal bitterness. This borders on the "blonde ale" category, albeit a very well made blonde.
I really enjoyed the light body and long-lived bittersweet mouthfeel.
While I don't think of an American pale ale when I drink this, it is tangy and refreshing. On a hot early Florida evening, it is very satisfying.

Light gold color with creamy white cap and lacing.
Aroma of sweet malt with a dusting of spicy hops. Either the aroma is low key or my nose is full of Spring pollen but that's all I get.
Tastes like the stuff usually flying under the Session IPA moniker. At 5.6% it isn't terribly strong but hardly sessionable without some food to soak it up. First thing on entry is a firm hop hit (49 IBU) of the sharp, piney type joined by sweet malt mid palate. The malt flavor builds while hops diminish as we approach the finish. Lingering aftertaste is mostly malt which tapers off to a gentle point.
Medium texture with slightly higher than average carbonation.
Competent, crafty brew with enough malty body to set it above average and enough hop presence to keep things interesting. Frankly, it reminds me of a quality German lager brewed with West Coast hops. Brewer calls it a Pale Ale and in such matters it's brewer's choice. I think if they used Noble hops and cut back the IBU it would make a dandy Pilsner substitute.

Tasted from a 12 oz bottle in a chalice glass.
L - Pale gold color, slightly hazy. Off-white head is mediocre on first pour and settles to a thin sheet of miniscule bubbles with strong lacing of the same.
S - Strong hops aroma seems fresh and is dominated by citrus and tropical fruit. Low grainy malt in the background.
T - Flavors dominated by citrusy hops, with a lower level of tropical fruit flavors. Very little malt to back the hops, although there is an underlying sweetness.
F - Slightly thin body. Light but creamy carbonation fills out the mouthfeel a bit. A hint of alcohol presence. Moderate hops bitterness seems appropriate to the level of hops aroma and flavor.
O - A pleasant, easy-drinking pale ale. A decemt level of hops balanced by a slight sweetness, all fresh and well-made, if not overly exciting.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Appearance- looks like weak tea, the color I poured doens't match any description that I found from other raters. I may have a bad beer. Aroma- light hop aroma with a fairly large grass mix. Taste- slightly bitter and acidic with grass and some hops. This is not a bad beer but the color is way off from most other ratings.
