Well, they just opened a few weeks ago and they haven't presented their first beers yet but they are coming soon. They will start off with a IPA and a Helles lager. Right now they have about 15-20 so FL beers on tap. Cigar City, Swamphead, St Somewhere and all the Jacksonville locals.

Location is the main key. The spot alone sets up this brewery for success just a few blocks from the beach and in the hot spot for bar hopping. My only concern is possible unwanted crowd that may creep over from the clubs.

Potential is the main thing. The bar is gourgeous and the set up works great. The brewer, Eric Luman, has serious talent. I applaud him for starting out with a lager. That will set him a part and generate a lot of local interest quickly. I'm really looking forward to watching this place grow and trying his beers.

Located two blocks from the ocean on Jacksonville beach. great brews! With anything from Head high IPA, Double overhead Double IPA, Diamond Belgian Wheat, Shaka Oatmeal Stout, to Pablo Beach Pale Ale, Undertow Florida Barleywine made with 10 gallons of orange blossom honey. Also they have a new pilot batch that comes out every Tuesday. Atmosphere is really beach like and laid back, with games out in their brewery like Giant Jenga and ping-pong. Live music Fridays & Saturdays. Ask for a tour, Jason is always willing to tell you about whats going on.

I am very happy to see how well this place is doing. The head brewer is agreat guy and very interactive with his customers. He has certainly picked up on the number of beers of his own he has on tap and having other Florida beers available and keeping the whole place all Florida is a nice idea. The atmosphere is good. The crowd is better than the typical beach crowd which is ok with me. The selection is as should be selected at this early juncture and the quality is solid. Pricws are standard for any brewery. Food isn't available at this time. Overall, selection, quality and ownership are the highlights here and I look forward to watching this brewery grow.

Disclaimer: I never overate places, especially if I live in town. I want a accurate and fair review. I been to 1000's of places in the world and I know good from bad.

Sept 2011 visit: After grand opening they have their own beers.
they still carry other taps of other Florida brewers which I think is a smart move. They have a overpriced food truck now, so one can eat there if one wished.(food was decent but pricey)

Still think their beer is overpriced, even intuition lower their prices to 4 bucks. parking is still an issue, but its a nice place. Still its a locals hangout and not the friendliness place in town but what do you expect 70%+ of Florida is Yankee's. Could be better with professional bartenders service wise. There just starting out they can only get better. (I hope).

1st:
Still not officially opened yet, so well its really just a bar atm.

I can see lot's of potential here. its in a decent location if your on foot or bike, but car wise, parking is going to be an issue. Now maybe they have more parking hidden, but it's a problem at the beach. It has always been parking space is limited @ beach, especially on 3rd street near beach blvd. So while NOT on the beach it's not too far away.

the have about 12 taps, a few are empty, they are carrying Florida brews on tap and a decent selection. They were out of St Somewhere saison on tap, which bummed me out to say the least.

the bar and the whole front end has a nice beach feel to it. there is 2 tv's I think? and a Foosball table. 25-30 foot bar and about 6 tables or so.

So its really to early to review it, but hey they opened it, I just review it. So their beer is not ready yet and I feel their limited ex Bold city kit will limit them allot. as they only plan on 2 beers, so it will be more a bar than brewery IMHO.

Service was good @ bar but there was no1 in there.

Selection was Florida only beers, while good is limited IMHO

no food , and why you want to bring food in there is a mystery to me, maybe some folks like it. I mean if they had snacks or more great, but why bring food in unless there was a food place next door, but they is not.

I keep hoping in having near 6 breweries/brew pubs in town you have something different, but sadly they are the same old IPA beer places. this one promises a lager, wow, just what we need in a bud town another lager...sarcasm

5 dollar shaker pints, maybe 14 oz, did not measure them. 16 oz maybe filled to 14.5oz maybe.

Since its close to the Ritz and their 2.50 beer happy hour, I will stop by to try their beer when it gets ready. Then I am sure it will be my last visit as I rather drink 2.50 blue moon's over most of the beer they had.
