Split with Meg, Poured to Russian River stemmed ware. Hazy golden orange in color, fingers width of white head sits atop. Beer aged on baseball bats? Yes please. Smell has a lot of piney pungent hops backed by notes of citrus fruit. The taste has that nice punch of piney hops that's been balanced nicely with notes of citrusy orange, lemon and apricot. Nicely carbonated and very approachable

A - Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a two-finger, tan head of bubbly foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled of orange peel and pine. A slight woody note.

T - It tasted spicy with a piney bitterness. Some orange notes with a toasty malt backbone.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is a good IPA. And it nice to have the proceeds go to a good cause.

A: Pours a copper-amber color with a big head that fades slowly to ample lacing.

S: Aroma of citrus, pine and a hint of sweetness.

T: tatse of some citrus and malt sweetness with just a bit of grain. Very nice bitterness and a clean finish.

F: Fairly medium body, quite crisp, smooth and refreshing. Nicely balanced.

O: Very enjoyable beer that goes down easy.

Pours a clear yellow without much of a head. Nose is soft, citric hops with a little bit of fruitiness from the orange; I couldn't detect any Louisville slugger. Taste starts off with sweet citrus flavors that move to some grainy malts. More citric hops with some coriander and orange flavors are on the backend. Overall, this is a a soft IPA, I don't really know how else to describe it - pretty solid, non-offensive and delicious.

Pours a cloudy orange with a super big white frothy head that slowly recedes leaving some nice super solid soapy lacing.

Aromas are herbal and with a pine edge to them and a little bit of orange peel. The Maple wood aging begins to emerge after you get past the lightly toasted sweet maltiness and the hops.

The tastes begin with a pleasant enough mix of oranges and other citrus with pine and a little papaya or something vaguely tropical. There is a little bit of a sweet maltiness that is almost creamy. Hops become more bitter on the palate as it warms.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium to high carbonation, a little high for my preference. Finish is super dry thanks to the hops, maple wood aging and abundant carbonation.

Overall this was a nice beer for a good cause. Nothing super amazing but just really solid. Bordering on sessionable and I would gladly purchase again if offered at a lower price point or a more economical package size.

750Ml poured into a Duvel tulip

A- Pours slightly hazy straw yellow/orange with a monster three finger white head. Good retention and excellent lacing. Nice looking beer.

S- Very hoppy, there is a lot of citrus like pineapple and orange. There is also a noticeable aged hop character in the beer that reminds me of plums and grapefruits.

T- I get a lot of hop bitterness up front and a high carbonation. The hop flavor shows some elements of an aged IPA but its not too noticeable.The hop flavor is citrusy with some orange and lemon and earthy with some spicy notes. The wood aged character is subtle but adds an interesting element to the beer.

M- Very high carbonation and very cleansing. The beer finishes clean and has a hoppy metallic aftertaste. Nice stuff, this is a good one to sip on.

O- A solid IPA, Being a Louisville, KY local, I just had to know what our baseball bats taste like.

On-tap & bottle at brewpub.

A - Pours a mirky orange color, white head, spotty lace, thin collar.

S - Very citrus & piney/floral hop presence...not sure if the oak really shows up too much on the nose, but the piney bitterness of the hops does show a light woody note.

T - Lots of orange peel citrus notes...a ton in fact. I know what these guys did and the amount of oranges they put in here, so it's easy to pick these out. The bitterness really works well with the oranges, and there's more pine and light herbal bitterness.

M - Light body, good carbonation, oily finish.

O - A nice IPA from Perennial and I'm curious to see how the other breweries that brewed this beer did. I enjoyed it both on-tap and out of the bottle, but I prefer the tap version, so that's what I'm rating.

pours a cloudy golden orange. massive fluffy cloud like head. sticky lacing. very beautiful.

very hop forward on the nose, juicy citrus and fresh pine.

flavor is still hoppy but a bit more muted. a mix of pine resin, malty body, and light orange. a hint of citrus mixed in.

very moderate carbonation with a hint of bite.

very tasty, very interesting, great ABV for easier drinking.

Poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint from a 750ml bottle.

Pours a nice hazy almost peach colored liquid with some golden edges. there is a nice sticky and fluffy white head that has some nice dense bubbles and rise about 1 inch. It recedes very slowly.

Citrusy start with some mild pine on the back end. Tropical notes as well with some passion fruit and maybe some mango. Bready toasty notes can be perceived in the background. Nice and appealing.

Flavor starts off with some interesting notes. I can see where the baseball bats come in. There is definitely and interesting woody note in at some point in the front. Then there is a nice citrus blast that isn't too intense but just enough to make you think its an IPA. there is definitely and orangey quality too it with some fruit sweetness. The hops are citrusy and slightly tropical as well. There is a nice bitterness to the brew that gets pretty intense on the backend but nothing too crazy. As the beer warms you can definitely perceive some of the maple sweetness. Pretty interesting brew. Mouthfeel is crisp and clear with a good bitterness on the backend.

Overall this brew is pretty solid. Good interesting flavor profile with still a solid IPA backbone of hops and bready malts.
