Peace Offering has become a seasonal favorite of mine. 2011 seemed to have more maple syrup, 2012 is less maple syrupy but very good.
Pours with a thin head, swirling releases additional maple syrup aroma. Color is a dark rich amber. Tastes of some cinnamon, earthyness, roasted maple pumpkin/squash, moderate carbonation, sweet finish.

Bottle says its a "brown ale".
Slight haze to this toasted, oaky looking, nutty brown, ruby, deep amber colored brew. There's a little sediment suspended in this brew. Two finger head after pour, nice lacing. Foam coverage is patchy after a few sips.
Roasty and toasty bread crust and biscuit malt aromas With a soft undertone of maple syrup and wood. Can't help but think of Autumn weather when you smell this brew.
Pretty malty from start to finish. Starts A little maple syrup sweet on top of roasty bread crust and toasty biscuits. Good carbonation, makes this flavorful, seasonal brew easy to drink. I wouldn't say this beer is a sipper, although the palate is little syrupy. It's still pretty easy and enjoyable to drink. I wouldn't think squash was used to brew this beer. Still, worth checking out.

Pours a hazy, dark copper color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, cinnamon, hint of nutmeg, hint of pale malt, hint of pumpkin, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of a Fruit / Vegetable beer. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, earthy malt, spices, slight grass, hint of pumpkin/squash, and a hint of hops. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, and decent body. The blend is too spice-centric, though.

On tap at 44 Stone in Columbia, MO.
A - Poured a clear, copper color with ruby highlights. It had a one-finger, off-white head of bubbly foam that left thin sheets of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of maple, squash, cinnamon and caramel.
T - It tasted fairly spicy with a bit too much cinnamon. Squash flavor is present with sweet caramel and toffee flavors.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.
O - This is a good beer. Very interesting flavors with the maple and squash.

Up from Jacksonville FL and stopped in at the brewery.
A: thin head with some lacing on a hazy amber body.
S: Brown sugar and cinnamon with hints of caramel malts.
T: brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg with some caramel. Surprisingly this one comes accross as a little boozy. The squash is actually noticeable once you are alerted to it.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: this one grows on you as its enjoyed. Unique spicey brown ale.

750ml into a French jelly glass on Halloween night.
A - Brown and slightly hazy with a very large, tan, pillowy head that persists. Unable to evaluate carbonation by appearance.
S - Mild honey and maple syrup with a faint cherry-like fruity aroma. Some farmhouse-ale like phenols also noted - leaving an impression of allspice.
T - Distinctive honey and maple syrup flavors mix well with a slightly toasty and rich brown ale. Finish is moderately sweet with only the faintest noble-type bitterness. Very much leaves an impression of candied yams. Maple flavor lasts a long time. Slightly warming.
M - Medium to heavy body with light carbonation.
O - A real autumn treat; if you like maple syrup, don't wait for this one.

Served in a Harviestoun Old Engine Oil tulip/snifter at Local Option.
Got some swordfish tacos, so why not go for a new "pumpkin" beer, eh? it pours a hazy copper-straw topped by a finger of cream-white foam. The nose comprises powdered sugar, perfume, sweet flowers, toasted biscuit, very light cocoa, and a kiss of cinnamon. The taste holds notes of toasted gourd, light toffee, brown sugar, clove, cinnamon, and black pepper. Things are like a bland, overly-spicy pumpkin pie that was left in the oven too long. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda slick feel. Overall, an underwhelming beer, one that seems to aspire to be a better pumpkin-style beer, but one that only succeeds at mediocrity.

Cloudy copper color with a soapy off-white head. Intense spice aroma. Lots and lots of all spice and nutmeg to this one. Plenty of maple syrup with a walnut sort of aroma, too. The flavor is just as heavy on the spices and maple. There’s a really good squash flavor to this too. The spices really add a nice substance to the beer.

750mL bottle split into snifters, thanks Justin & Amanda for the assist. Review from written notes.
It pours a murky, tawny reddish amber color, fairly good clarity with some minor hazing in the light. Thin layer of soft creamy foam on top, as it settled the texture reminded me of silkworm webs. It had strong, lasting head retention and left behind minimal lacing.
Earthy aromas of candied ginger, nutmeg, autumnal spices, dry and spice forward, not at all sweet.
A definite "autumn season" impression to this beer, reminds one of crunchy fall leaves, pumpkin pie, and the smell of distant campfires. Flavors of dry spices, nutmeg and bitter bay leaf. Earthy squash/pumpkin flavor in the background, but its overshadowed by the spices a bit. Medium bodied with an even level of carbonation. An interesting spice-forward fall seasonal that has distinctive "autumn" qualities. It was fun to try and probably best shared, but not a repeat buy for me.
