Main Street Tavern is a place that had always went unnoticed by me in the past. Im not huge on the whole bar scene so I dont visit many. I went because they had a firkin night with our local Marshal Brewery.
The selection in this bar was fantastic. They had 23+ great beers that I have been waiting to try. They also had bottles of limited release brews that was hard to find even in the best bottle shops. The staff was great and friendly. I never had to wait too long for an employee to wait on me.
The food was amazing as well. The burgers are ridiculous and they sweet potato fries are the best I have ever eaten. For the beer lovers with family/wives this is a top tiered place. The one thing I truly love was that it was non smoking. I hate eating food or being in a place that reeks of smoke. It is off putting and I really would rather not deal with that environment.
All in all a great place to go for a great selection of terrific beer and fantastic food. This is a new favorite for me and my wife.

I frequent this place (at least twice a month) and service is spotty. Sometimes great, sometimes not good at all. The beer selection is one of the best in Broken Arrow and the food is consistently great. I can overlook spotty service for a good beer selection, great atmosphere, and great food.

Relatively hidden in BA off main street. I have lived in the Tulsa area for 6 years before i discovered this place. Service was absolutely superb. We had a shift change not to long after we sat down and both people waiting on us were very nice. Not too informed on the draft selection or beer in general, but very nice nonethless.
Selection was decent. Not as large as a McNellie's or Tapworks, but had about 10-15 solid craft beers on tap which is much better than most bars in the area. Actually had my favorite local porter on tap- COOP Gran Sport
This was a mellow place that is good for table discussion with friends as the music wasn't blasting you out the door. It is laid back and modern look to the bar. My kind of place. Some TV's, but not really a great sports watching venue.
I didn't have a chance to eat here, but the menu did look delicious. I woudl describe it as upscale pub food. I have heard that the food is quite good. I look forward to trying next time I am in.

The Main Street Tavern is located in an historic narrow red brick building nestled in the revitalized downtown area which once used to house a hardware store near the old city water spring that the Creek Indians once called Achinnie meaning "a beautiful water". Upon entering one can immediately feel the English warmth & intimate charm of the place from the long dark wooden bar accented with brass to the mahogany ceiling tiles above, but there's a defined modern appeal as well. The beer selection isn't expansive (28 taps), but superlative focused on local/regional craft beers with close attention paid to seasonal & limited release beers with monthly/weekly beer specials. This is all credited to the bar manager & fellow BA, kylejohnson03 who's well diversed in the local beer culture. The tavern is currently featuring firkins on Wednesday nights where special "one-off" or seasonal beers are offered to locals & beergeeks who can "rub elbows" with the Oklahoman brewing gentry. As good as the beer is here, I purposly waited to write a review until I could sample a control portion of the menu. The fare here is outstanding with daily specials that often incorporate beer or offer suggested pairings. I'm certainly a fan of their hot wings & meatloaf sliders, not to mention the delicious roasted garlic & artichoke dip served with crostini's. Come by for a firkin' pint!

4-6-13 Visited again, dropping quality of beer a touch & selection; a few of the quality beer selection are dumbed down (Harp & other such beers of that ilk ), only about half of the beers there were tempting to me. It was way closer to 80% last visit. Didn't seem to be much lobster in the very pricey seafood mac & cheese. Still love this place, but not really digging the trending I'm seeing here
8-2-11 Based on my second vist, I am bumping up quality & service scores
Had lunch here today. Wish there was a place like this in my neck of the woods..
Loved the wide open layout/old timey feel of the brick, which I presume was original or lovingly redone. There are a few TVs which are requisite for the area IMO. Think restrained sportsbar vibe mixed in. No complaints here, audio was off & they did not detract at all
Qualtiy of 2 of my beers was fantastic, the Red Bud Pale Ale was probably alright as well, but that was my first taste of that & it was a touch perplexing for the style ( I will hold off on reviewing that one until I get another taste )
Service could've been a touch prompter, but not too big a detractor. My waiter was happy to explain who brewwed the first 2 beers I had & the connection between Coop & Redbud (props to Chase!)
I give near full marks to selection as the place emphasized Oklahoma beers up front with nice selection of regional offerings too ( Boulevard & Great Divide on tap ), plus suggested beer flights on offer. Bottled selection was pretty decent as well
The food was pretty tasty & the selection on the menu was typical American Pub fare. I had little bite of everyones & all five of us enjoyed our lunch
Lunch for 3 adults & 2 kids was $69 (with 3 pints for me). If in the area I would love to eat/drink here again!
