The bottom of the can has dot print which makes it a bit difficult to read, but it appears to say: "03 10 2020" (illegible) "INSERT WITTY SAYING"
Appearance: The beer is a slightly hazy bronze color with copper edges. It has a large tobacco-stained looking off-white head with dense foam. It has good head retention.
Aroma: There is a very faint aroma of lemon to the beer, but it mostly has this caramel scent.
Taste: Up front there is a lemon flavor that sticks with the palate the whole way through. Towards the middle of the mouth a bready character comes through a bit like biscuits and rustic bread crusts. It finishes mostly on the lemon but with a bit of pine at the back.
Mouthfeel: The beer has good bitterness that is a bit higher than the average Pale Ale. The beer feels crisp and has a good carbonation level. It's very easy to drink.
Overall: It's a nice crisp Pale Ale with good flavors and a strong bitterness. It would pair well with a nice turkey sandwich or a slice of pizza. I could drink it again on occasion. I would recommend it to those looking for a Pale Ale that has more bitterness than usual.

So bland. The taste was almost like an adjunct.

Shared 22 oz bottle.
Looks as expected for style.
Flavor: exceptionally fruity APA with near, but lower than average, bitterness.
O: very nice fruity/juicy flavor. Easy drinking.

My first review of this brewery.
Pours coppery in color with a bit of orange. A 2 finger white head settles quickly Slightly cloudy, you can see through it, just no real detail. Bubbles of carbonation evident early on.
Nutty, grapefruit early on, then more lemony in aroma with doughy biscuit and some grassiness.
Rather dry at first impression, but then a bit of sweet, nutty malt. Overall, mostly citric, lemon and bitter lemon peel. Significant piney aspect rising in the back of the mouth. A hint of tropical fruit on occasion, llike mango.
Moderate in body with moderate bite of carbonation. Slightly sticky and drying in the end.
After seeing the reviews, I was surprised at how much I liked this beer. It's not "in your face", but it has good character, and in my opinion, is well rounded. I wouldn't hesitate to try it again.
