Went there in the late afternoon after walking by and noticed what people were drinking. A really nice bottle selection, consisting of Victory, Stoudt's Paulaner, Leffe, etc. I was kind of jazzed to be able to sit on the boardwalk and have good beer. The inside was small and a bit dark, but I never went in. I guess it was the down time, because all of the staff were hanging out outside and chatting. I had a couple beers, it came in a glass, not a plastic cup, and the waitress was attentive. The only downfall was the price, $8 a bottle, oh well, I guess atmosphere costs a little.

I was elated to see that there is now a location on the AC boardwalk that offers craft beers. You could not ask for a better atmosphere, as far as I am concerned. While they provide indoor tables, there are plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas outside on the side of the boardwalk.
The problem is found in the selection of food and beer. They might have had 6 to 8 bottled craft beer and the usual Bud, Coors, Miller, etc. The craft beer is $8 a glass, but you have to figure you're paying for location. The selection was not impressive but it's the best on the boardwalk.
If you're desperate enough for a wide selection of quality beer, travel on over the bridge into Brigantine and go to St. George Pub.

So when I saw that Caesar's was opening a beer garden a month before I was heading there I was pretty stoked. Not too many places for craft beer along the boardwalk.
The atmosphere when I was there on a Sunday afternoon was pretty lame. A live music act was playing, the inside bar was empty, and a few folks sitting at the umbrella tables. But, it was an opportunity for craft beer.
The waitress knew enough about the selections to be helpful. You are only getting bottles here; no glassware to pour them into. I suspect they will give you a pint glass if you really complain.
Selections are made up of some faux craft and local stuff. I had a Stoudt's Scarlet Lady ESB and Flying Fish Summer. Was happy to score good beer in Ac without a walk to Tun Tavern. But, they also had Blue Moon, multiple Magic Hat, and other stuff that the craft world would scoff at.
Food options are limited big time. As in a pretzel or hot dog were the only options. What they should do is team up with the Phillips Express 10 feet away and offer seafood. Just a thought.
Price was a little high ($8) bottles. But I didn't mind given that I was able to have some quality.
Overall if you are seeking craft beer this is a viable option and I was fairly happy with the experience.
