Had the privilege to have a few drinks here while visiting Amsterdam in September 2011.
This is one of the coolest bars I have ever been to. Well, best belgian bar anyway. All they have is belgian brews. Not sure how many, but it was a lot. All served in their gallsware distributed by the brewery.
I had a few brews, but cant remember what they were! They were all excellent though.
There were a few places to sit inside, but we stayed outside. Service was slow, but its Europe! So id say it is normal...nobody rushed us out...
The beers were a bit expensive, but thats probably just the exchange rate.
This place is deff outside of the downtown area of the city, and there are other Gollem bars in AMS, but we were visiting a friend in the area. Otherwise, I probably wouldnt go out of my way to get here if I was a tourist. But I could deff see this place as being a local favorite.
Either way, go to at least one of the Gollem bars...you will not be disappointed!
