I decided to do a brewery tour in Austin; ridiculous because Austin has a shitload of breweries. On my third day, there I went into this establishment. The one thing that stood out to me was the beer list on tap. This list was a lot of beer where they were trying to push the boundaries on what beer is. The place is surrounded by huge fermentors and has a beautiful outdoor seating area. I chose to stay inside today because it was chilly outside. Another thing I did not care for was a card only, I do carry cash and want a place to accept it. The beer was good, but this place is for a more newish generation not for me, I moved on.

This is a brewery with an impressive production facility, so expect all of the usual industrial trappings in effect. Wide selection of taps, but on the day I visited they must have been slammed because outside of their core lineup there was only a few of their experimental taps still on. Off-putting server sealed the deal.

come for the beer, the events, and the fellowship. the location isn't great, the service nearly always winds up slammed, and they aren't really set up to let you relax into a flight of their offerings BUT there are food trucks and great people and a beautiful bowels-o'-the-brewery setting here to enjoy. it's about the beer anyway, and they've got that quality down in spades.

Industrial, but not the stark warehouse feel you can get at these places. A window wall connects inside and outside tables and makes for a well-lit place. Multiple taps of standard, seasonal and small batch offerings keep you tasting. Popcorn is always there, too. The crowd seems to be young professionals with occasional families.

On the way out. Low quality beer. Only 50% of taps active. Indifferent service. They call themselves a gastropub. I’ve had better at Applebee’s. Avoid.

Love visiting here when in Austin, even though it feels far off from most other beer places.
Feel is industrial and open-aired. Younger crowd. They use a token system for beers due to weird laws on serving but it's okay because you get your money's worth and a souvenir glass.
The beers here are always good to excellent, with my only complaint being I'd love to see them double or triple the number of taps and beers available.
Food trucks are usually present too.
