22oz bottle poured into a pint glass

Pours a dark brown with a good amount of head and good retention. Raspberry comes through in the nose along with nutty malts. Taste is a solid brown ale, malty and smooth; the raspberries come in on the end offering a sweet finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and carbonated well. I have to thank my wife for talking me into these fruit offerings from LCB.

A-Aesthetically pleasing design on the front of the bottle. Poured thin with slightly beige head. Lots of Lacing. Poured into a pub style glass.

S- Raspberries! Very prevalent,.

T-Raspberries! Yep its artificial, but it still warrants a good flavor, a sweeter brown with a slight malty character. Raspberries def came to the party.

M-Not quite as bubbly as usual browns. Appetizing. More and more each sip.

O-Great, unique twist on a brown

Poured a clear brown with a ruby tinge and two fingers of quick-fading off-white head. Aroma of raspberry and caramel.

Moderate carbonation and a light mouthfeel. Light caramel and dry toast up front with a hint of raspberry and some cocoa bitterness on the finish.

Quite dry without much malty sweetness, to the point of coming across a little thin overall. Still, nice balance of fruit and dry, slightly chocolatey malt.

Body is a dark brown, the head is thin but it does lace the glass.

Raspberry on the nose. Something off about that through.

The raspberry seems "candied" and fake somehow. The darker malts are there, brown malts. The raspberry is consistent throughout just not winning me over. I brewed with real raspberries recently and this is not at all how it turned out.

Really thin brew, comes off like a soda in this regard.

Pours a clear brown with a 1 inch foamy khaki head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, toasted nuts, and some fake raspberry aromas. Taste is of toasted malt and toasted nuts up front with an artificial and perfume-like raspberry flavor that dominates the finish. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a somewhat poor beer with a fake raspberry flavor that is pretty unenjoyable in my opinion.
