Our Eight Ball Stout is not for the faint of heart. It’s bold as hell and robust as can be, but it’ll reward your palate like no other stout. Roasted malts and heavy hops give it a flavor that will have you pouring another before you’re even finished with the first.

Pours very dark. Almost black with some ruby at the bottom of my tulip glass. 1 finger of light brown head slowly sinking into the beer.
Smells of stone fruits. Dates and plums. Dark roasted malts. Something like a bitter cherry aroma.
Taste is very much dates, plums, dark cherries. Roasted malt bitterness. Also getting some of the hop presence.
Mouth is heavy medium with a lingering finish. Warming from the alcohol comes through on the feel, odd for only 5.8 % ABV.
A decent stout. Thought with the oatmeal it might be a bit more creamy on the presence. However I am getting more hops than I like in a beer of this billing. Overall pretty good just left searching for that rich creaminess I was seeking. Cheers!

Look: Pitch black on the pour with a hefty, light tan head that billows up and slowly settles, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Roasted barley, chocolate, warm brown bread, a little earthiness, and wafts of brewed coffee
Taste: A huge hit of chocolate and roast deliver the first punch while bready malt slowly slides into the frame and joins the mix. The roast lingers along with a little earthiness before chocolate notes rejoin and lead to the close
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, silky smooth, medium-high carbonation, and very smooth on the finish with only a light roast note cutting through
Overall: Delicious. It’s been years since I’ve had this and needed a reminder to not make that mistake again. This is a tasty oatmeal stout with great chocolate, roast, and bready depth along with an awesome body and mouthfeel. Recommended

Bottle into pint glass. Pours a dark brown with a thin, light tan head. Initial impression is chocolate, roasted grain, and a touch of coffee. Mouthfeel is too thin. Finish is dry and slightly sweet. Overall not bad, but not something I'd revisit.
