When you look at the restaurant, it might look a little simple: No bar. No white linen. No beer taps or breweriana on the walls.

And the beer menu? 8 draft beer, one of them rotating. About the same number of bottled beers. But (with the exception for the traditional Göteborg lager Pripps Blå) all of them are fresh well kept Czech lagers, served at the right temperature in correct glassware.

The food is traditional homemade Central European homely fare: Schnitzels, tenderloin of pork boiled in paprika and onions served with bread knödel, fried cheeses, etc. All very tasty and satisfying.

The service is friendly and relaxed, everything just works smoothly.

The restaurant opened in 1972, and the focus on Czech cuisine and beer has been the same since then. A small piece of the Czech republic in Göteborg.
