Taste: refreshing, watermelon, guava, tarragon, some wheat notes. Melon rind floral nose. Pink/Ruby color, mostly opaque with a delicate pinkish head containing some lattice. Medium body. Popsicle taste.

Agua fresca in beer form! Beautiful murky watermelon tone. Light head, only moderately carbed. Great aroma - flowery, herbal watermellon, wheat, not overly sweet. Finish is soft and clean, not completely crisp but not soggy. More aqua fresca / juice like. Great hybrid perfect for warm summer days. Or as a mixer for punch / cocktails.

Light ruby with a short lived head. Fresh wheat, watermelon and candy in the scent. Watermelon is more and wheat are more pronounced in the flavor. The lightest of the Paletas.

One finger of purely white head is smooth and creamy off the tap. The beer itself is sort of a hazed medium yellow with very slight hues darker than pink but lighter than red deep within. The head's retention is good and steady. Creamy and chunky lace sticks in patching.
Light spiciness that may be the direct influence of yeast and something like stone fruits under a pale, maybe bready malt is all I can force out of a light nose.
I didn't know there was more than one version of this beer, or what it was at all, but I took a swing like I always do and I only knew it was the watermelon because it was only yesterday, I remember it well, and the first thing I wrote for the flavor was "watermelon!" so, yes, I can be certain of that. Otherwise, there's a pale malts foundation and a light floral note. It's soft but flavorful and gets sweeter as it warms.
This beer, appropriately, as a light, smooth, crisp, soft body.

On tap at the Green Lady, quick review from written notes.
Murky pinkish orange, looks a little like passion fruit color wise. Foam has a soft surface texture and settles to a lasting skim. Opaque with a little bit of lacing around the edges.
Estery yeast aroma, vague fruit note that could be interpreted as watermelon.
Taste is slightly tart with a distinct watermelon flavor. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Lightly fruity, dry and not sweet. Light bodied and smooth. A nice summer beer with authentic watermelon flavors.
