Good selection of beer but the blonde lady working the counter was a total weirdo. She checked my ID and then rang up a 12 pack of Tuckerman's Pale for $18. I thought that was too much so I told her I was going to put it back. She was adamant that I not put it back in the cooler myself. I thought that was strange so I got some other beer and went back up to the counter a minute later and she asked me for my ID again like I had never been in there. She started giving me major attitude because I asked politely why she was checking my ID again. It was the weirdest retail experience I've ever had and the beer in general was more expensive than any other place in NH I've been.

I rate this one high because of its selection in a small remote city. Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Tons of local options, fresh.

A hidden gem in No. Conway. There is a big sign out front that says "Craft Beer", but there was a lot more than I expected. They have two large coolers in the front filled with sixers, and a large room in the back with a huge selection of bombers. There were a lot of local breweries represented; a lot of local nanos I had never heard of before. Prices were very good for a touristy area. The gentleman that was working was very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend stopping here to try to find a local winner to drink or bring home.

Stop in there everytime I go to North Conway. They have an excellent selection of beers and the owners loves beer and know quite a bit about them. The also sell really good pizza.

Stopped in while on vacation to pick up local stuff. Small selection of craft in coolers and a larger selection of 6 packs and bottles in back room. Nothing that jumps out as exclusive to the store or area, some of bottles were slightly dated (Union Jack bottled 3/12/14) The gentlemen working the room was very knowledgable on beers and had some beers not on display that he shared once I shared my interests. Overall a decent place with helpful staff, probably best in the area. (Smaller then I'm used to, not knocking just comparison to my baseline stores).

Stopped by this morning on our way from Portland, ME to Hill Farmstead. We stopped at the scenic view across the street to stretch our legs and happened to see the sign for this place just up the road. The guy working behind the counter was very helpful and let us know that they had a fresh delivery of sours from Uinta. After chatting a bit he let us know that they also had a bit of KBS left ($6) which we promptly purchased the alloted limit of (1 for me and 1 for my girlfriend).

I have extensive connections at the local bottle shops at home (Syracuse) and was still only able to get (1) bottle ($8) this year so to say that I was thankful for this stop where I literally happened upon (2) bottles of a great BA Stout in the middle of nowhere would be a gross understatement. It was one of those little life lessons that reminded me that I should not be judging books by their cover. The ambiance is great, the service is great and the prices are more than fair.

If you're in the area, stop by; you won't be disappointed.

Great little country store with a good vibe. Friendly staff that smile when I pulled up with my Vermont tags. Helpful and knowledgeable for the questions I asked. I was in the area to ski/ride and came in to get some Moat Mountain to take home.
A fairly diverse selection of local craft beers. VT/NH/ME/MA. Mostly all the usual suspects I can get at home in VT. It was nice to see Oskar Blues on the shelf. I love that beer!
I didn't delve into their vast selection of imports and other stuff. I must say I'm spoiled with Ryan and Casey so close to home for me.
Go here, support the local guy, drink some local beer, and get some pizza.

Great little Brew shop/general store in North Conway. The staff is super friendly and know more than enough to help with selections, and the selection is really good for the area. You also have to love the rustic vibe from a place that looks so much like an old timey mercantile/general store. oh, and of course don't pass up on the pizza slices, they're really good, an the price is awesome. all in all, a great asset for beer lovers in an awesome ski town, and an easy stop before or after hitting Moat Mountain.

Definitely a convenience store vibe which i prefer over the boutique style atmosphere. A few coolers with craft beer in the front but there`s a dedicated beer room in the back. Good selection but not as expansive as Glen Beverage. Service was good as someone came to ask me if i needed help.

Great selection for the area, good prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be going back. I walked into the room where the beer is and one of the staff immediately asked if I needed help and offered good suggestions based on my preferences. He listened to me and provided feedback rather than trying to push the latest special. Overall a great experience.

Very helpful staff. Quickly provided boxes to help carry my choices. Although the two people working when I was there didn't have a lot of product knowledge, they offered assistance and told me when the owner would be in if I wanted to come back at a different time.

Selection of local and other American beers was very good. They have some imports as well but not a huge selection.

Unfortunately I ended up with a few bottles that were beyond their best before dates so I will be more careful to look them over next time I shop there.

This is a convenience store that has a small room devoted to craft beers and wine. They seem to be excited about beer and have an above average selection for New Hampshire. One of the owners does not shy away from a good beer conversation. Plenty of locals including Squam, White Birch, Tuckerman, and Shipyard. The Belgians are pretty standard like Chimay but they have a nice selection of Ommegang and Allagash. The prices were not bad and would not break the bank. No mix and match although they have some singles available. This would be a good place to pick up a few craft brews and bring them back to the ski lodge for afters.

After reading a few BA reviews I checked this place out, as like others I was tired of the dusty bottles, disorganization, and disinterested staff at Glen Beverage. This is very much an old convenience store more than a beer shop. There are some coolers in the front, but the bulk of the beer is in a room at the back. For NH, the selection was very good, and everything is labeled with a price sticker, which is rare these days, so I was impressed. Service was excellent: the owner came right back to ask me if I needed any help - even found me a cold bottle of the beer I wanted. This is a cool little shop and right on Route 16, so it's an easy in-and-out.

Was here back in August 2011 and decided to stop in on our way back to our campsite in the White Mountains. Fairly tiny convenience store with regular convenience store type items near the store front, and a more open smaller area in the back devoted to good beer and wine.

Had quite a wide variety (for the area) of assorted six-packs and single bombers. Some notables included Firestone Walker, Dogfish Head, DuPont, Cisco, and White Birch. Prices were agreeable and didn't jump out at me.

I was immediately assisted by the gentleman owner and he went over what products were new, rare, and what his employees were especially fond of. Real nice down-to-earth guy who really loves what he does. At the counter, upon seeing the bottles I picked out, he went to grab me cold ones from the back.

Great place and I will certainly drop-in again if I'm in the area.

New owners have really turned this place around and are starting to build a name for themselves in the Valley.

About 6 coolers (I've never actually counted) in the main part of the store carry a solid selection of craft beer but the back room is where you'll find most of your bigger stuff. They've quickly stocked up on all of the lastest additions to our distribution network including Dupont, Hop-Ruiter, Firestone-Walker, etc... Selection is only limited by the relatively poor distribution we have compare to our neighboring states.

This place doesn't really look like much of a beer store from the outside (or even the inside) and they will always be a convenience store at heart but its nice to have another store worth shopping at in the Valley.

This place always had decent beer in the cooler.
The new local owners upped it a bunch and made a whole new room dedicated to beer and wine.
Clem, the owner, always seems to get the newest allocations of hard to find beer in NH.

DFH, Dupont, Green Flash, all the Oskar Blues, Firestone Walker, Lagunitas, White Birch, Smutty big bottles...well, you get the picture.

Blink and you'll miss it, it doesnt look like a quality beer store.
But it is.

Plus the lunch is great to boot with all the pizza selections.

The Vista Country Store is located aside the railroad tracks, diagonally across the street form the Intervale Scenic Vista. It's a small store that's easy to miss while whizzing by on Route 16. They have recently expanded thier craft beer selection into another room and now have a better selection than Discount beverages. Firestone Walker, Green Flash, White Birch, and plenty others. There's a cooler which has a nice assortment, as well as plenty of craft imports and domestics. Prices are reasonable..Hop Stoopid $5.99.
They also take credit cards which Discount Beverage does not and all the beers have prices on them as opposed to Glenn Beverage.
Nice spot and very close to the Moat Mountain Brewpub. Vista gets high marks (by NH standards).
