Catoctin Creek Roundstone rye oak barrels were used to age this one.

Single finger head with excellent lacing on a murky amber brown body.  Fig sour cherry oak, raisin and candy sugar on the nose. Nice sweet and sour dark fruit flavor with the oak and rye late in the finish. Very smooth, medium body and carbonation. An excellent and uncommon combination brew.

Growler into a tasting glass

A: Brownish/Amber Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head , Some Lacing

S: Mildly Oakey, Mild Cherry, Mild Rye

T: Cherry, Rye, Mild Apricots

M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Sour, Mildlt Sweet Finsih

Overall, definitely got better as it warmed up.
