Convergence is a collaboration beer between New England Brewing and Tullycross. The brewer at Tullycross formerly worked (or interned) at NebCo. This beer utilizes the yeast strain the New England uses for 668 along with Citra to finish it off. This pours a light orange with a slight head. The taste is more hoppy (I'm happy) with the belgian yeat notes in the background.

Fun beer to drink...looking forward to more from Tullycross

Growler Purchased on 02/17/12, Poured into Tulip on 02/18/12

A: dark golden body with a decent white head that recedes to 1/2", looks like plenty of lacing

S: classic belgian notes of clove and tinges of banana, plenty of hop aroma as well, I'm told Citra is a major component and it shows

T: big fan of the flavors, hop notes (citrus), but finishes with strong belgian notes, this one isn't over the top and drinks great, faint bitterness in the back end, very well done

M: smooth and light, exactly what you would expect from the ABV

O: cool to see so much flavor in such a drinkable beer, def. would like to see in cans. Another triumph from Nebco, and a clear sign that I need to pencil a Tullycross date on my calendar

Pours a hazy light orange with a nice foamy white 2 finger head.

Smells really tasty. It has a really sweet smell that I'm guessing is from the blend of the yeast strain(668) and the hops which I believe is a blend of 3 varieties. It has that typical bpa aroma which is always a delight.

Tastes exactly like it smells. Sweet up front. Nice hop flavor in the middle that isn't bitter at all yet very full in flavor. Finishes with a little spice and the subtlest bitter touch.

Medium mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation.

I like this and I'm glad I picked it up while its around.
