A: burnt orange with a nice big heady. Very cloudy.

S: Wheat and clove. Big yeast with freshly baked bread. A touch of banana and the smallest amount of toasted caramel.

T: Huge wheat and bread. yeast. banana ester. its spicy with caramel on the end. big malt characteristic. i almost taste like an applesauce as weird as that sounds.

M: CRISP. Smooth with fantastic carbonation. clean.

O: Its definitely a nice, highly drinkable refreshing beer. But i consider this more of a hefeweissen than a dunkle. I think its good but for me it didnt quite live up to the hype. /85

A: Pours a hazy copper color with 2+ fingers of head that relatively quickly fizzles down into a thin cap

S: Some banana and clove, along with some darker malts and fruits. Relatively simple, but still very good

T: Starts off with a hint of yeast and darker fruity malts. Goes into a light banana and clove before finishing with more of the yeasty notes

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very smooth and refreshing

O: A very good example of the style, although relatively simple. Great price-point and product as usual for Weihenstephaner
