Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time, goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

What a beer, pours extremely smoothly, with a pleasant amber color. Goes down as smooth as anything, with a very lightly fruity profile, but not overshadowed by the cloves at all, phenomenal experience.

Having tasted my way through Austria and Germany on several overseas trips, this widely-available beer is as close as it gets to perfection for the style. An outstanding beer with wonderful honey notes in addition to a perfect blend of the usual banana, clove, etcetera. What a miracle that I can find this in Tucson, Arizona. Some things can't be done any better, and this is one of them.
