Bottle poured into teku. (Reviewed in 2017, just found my old notebook)
A- Light gold in color. Yeast at the bottom of the bottle, if poured hazes things up a lot. The head is off white and has a meringue consistency.
S- Citrus, Brett musty funk with some deep earthy notes (I love it.) Stonefruit, peachy.
T- Sweet citrus, stonefruit, and subtle funk.
M- Bright, tangy and earthy. Body is on the lighter side and has a crisp, dry finish.
O- The Brett notes in this are awesome. Showcase of a Brett beer, without getting too funky.

Received in a box from a regular trader, but didn't mark which one sent me this particular bottle. 375 mL bottle, 2013 vintage. Consumed on 1/18/18 after appropriate cellaring. Poured into a J. Wakefield OG teku glass.
A: Mildly hazy gold, with a thin white head that fades away. A good amount of visible carbonation.
S: Brettanomyces dry funk, oranges and lemons and citric acid. Cracker malts, with more Brett basement, old books, and grassy hay funk. Some dry oak tannins and a bit of a white vinous impression.
T: Lactic tart, and citric acid – lemons and oranges. Brett funk again – woodsy, barnyard, and a touch of pineapple fruitiness. Cracker malts with mild woody tannins and associated dryness. Some dry stone fruit as well, and I think Lactobacillus funk. More citric acid tartness near the swallow, and it finishes dry with lingering orange flavor.
M: A fairly light body, with carbonation sensation about average (maybe a bit lower than it looked). Very mild alcohol presence.
O: This was pretty solid. There was nothing particularly to make it stand out from a plethora of other fruited sour ales, but it doesn’t do much wrong. It didn’t achieve the Brett funk I thought it might after being cellared for so long, but it did manage to retain a solid amount of citrus fruit flavor. I certainly wouldn’t turn down another, but I’m not sure I would seek it out.

Batch 2, 2013. Going on 6 years old!
Pours a hazy pale gold with one heck of a nice head of foam, lacing is very good.
The smell has an awesome Brett presence, oak and some citrus. And tartness.
All 4 components in the smell are in the taste with the citrus coming through on the milder side. And this sure is dry! Tartness is what I would call, at an easy to cope with level.
Body is on the lower side of medium and the carbonation is lively but in a good way.
Yikes! I dig this!

A - Hazy yellow body, pouring with a moderate white head, fading to an uneven cap, small bubble lacing forms up in broken lines across the glass.
S - Strong hit of funk, yogurt and grass, a bit of lemony fruit, and soured grains at its core.
T - Follows the nose, with the grain notes forward, suggesting toasted bread, and a bright lemon curd aspect, finishing with just a touch of bitterness.
M - Very highly carbonated, but the brisk feel does keep things from getting too slick or cloying.
O - This was a pleasant surprise, a back of the frig beer that held up to the age and delivered exactly the kind of experience you would hope for in a Witbier.

Yellow golden pour with 2 inch head, smelled of pears and lemon, taste like Apple champagne but with an earthy tone that balanced it well, crisp finish like a cider.

UPDATED 5/2018: this 12.7 oz bottle is dated 'June 2015'. I made some minor adjustments to the text, as I had about the same experience as I had stated previously.
12.7 oz bottle, dated 2014.
Look: pours somewhat cloudy, displaying a straw color edging toward orange with a good amount of head that stays around and clings nicely to the glass.
Smell: similar to other sours I have had: very pungent and certainly complex: hops, grains, yeast, and more!
Taste: What I have come to expect from sours: almost like a sour milk taste, with a bit of barnyard funk, and on the dry side.
Feel: Nicely carbonated, great mouthfeel.
Overall: I still consider myself new to sours, yet this one strikes me as one of the better ones. It's a little too sour and dry for me, but it certainly is complex.

7/1...orange gold cloudy hazy with heavy white foam. Orange nose, coriander nose too. Funked citrus flavors, light spices. Clean mouthfeel. Light carbonation. Woodsy. Nice.
