A 10 oz. pour into a snifter at Backcountry Pizza in Boulder on 5/10/12
Funky. Barnyard and hay. Hazy yellow with on head. First thing that came to mind aroma-wise was pond water. A touch of sourness with an unusual back end cheese like characteristic. A fair amount of acidity. Despite the wild ale characteristics, there is a surprising hint of caramel sweetness. Plenty of carbonation and a light body. Not the best beer I've had, but a hell of a lot of fun.

Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one at Retsinis' tasting.
Pours a clear light yellow with a foamy bone colored head that fades to nothing. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with some fruity and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with a fruity flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that smells better than it tastes in my opinion.

Huge thanks to kubrick215 for sharing.
Pours a very cloudy, murky golden yellow color with dark ripe banana hues and a half finger off-white head that quickly dissapears. Minimal spotty lacing.
Musty, slightly funky aroma with a nice farmhouse/barnyard presence along with toasted oak, lactic funk and musty brett. Almost wheat/Berliner like with sourdough bread, citrus juice, wild yeast and a lactic cheese character. Lots of lemon citrus character and the lactic funk stands out more as it warns.
Full bodied, especially for the style with a really nice balance of barrel, dry, musty brett, citrus acidity and lactic funk. Crisp and refreshing with lemon acidity nicely complimenting the dry, musty brett. Dry toasted oak carefully blended in, melding nicely and not overpowering the other notes. Nice carbonation/spritzer like with the lactic funk coming on strong in the back end with subtle cheesiness. Well balanced and easy to drink considering the complexity. I really enjoyed this one a lot.

Served in a Sweetwater mini-snifter.
Petite in what way? Anyway, this stuff pours a milky pale straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises lemon peel, light wheat, and a touch of funk. The taste brings in more of the same, with more funk, more tartness, pervading. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying feel. Overall, an enjoyable session sour, one of the very few such creatures I've yet encountered.

Appearance is incredibly pale with collar of white head and no lacing. Nose is zesty with white pepper, lemon rind, sourdough bread, and funk. Taste is is very sour up front with heavy bready sourdough character to follow. Citrus tartness comes through next with a clean and refreshing finish that is very tart on finish. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated with light body. Overall, very tart and tasty, worth a try.

Big thanks to Bill for getting this and other bottles out to me. Served in a Cellar Reserve wine glass. Nose starts with slight sulfur but fades to hay and lemon. Slight funk. Good wheat body. Dry funk. Light acid. Easy drinking. This is something I certainly won't mind having another bottle of.
