Thanks to my buddy Ben for this bottle! #1449/1488
A: Pours a hazy golden yellow similar to most DIPA's, very thin head and moderate lacing.
S: Yum. Lots of citrus and tart underscored by brett throughout.
T: Fantastic. A great citrus sour, the brett is so subtle, which is great. Sometimes it can be overpowering. Other flavors of orange zest and lemongrass. Delicious.
MF/D: So easy to drink, not overly carbonated so goes down very smooth. Wish I had another bottle... or the Red, Orange, or Green...

Number three at the ROYGBIV event on Sunday.
Absolutely awesome. Can I say that again? Awesome!
Appears like a blend of County Time lemonade and quality Italian lemoncello. Rich, bright yellow colors, balanced with pure white bubbles that seemed to appear for the duration of consumption.
Aroma. Can I lie? If it means more people will not trade for it and I can have it then I will. If this was a candle, I would have it lit 24-7. Tropical fruit meets spicy coriander meets sour. A+
Taste was devine. The mango really shown through, although to be honest the flavor my entire group got was lemon. Pungent sour. Spices were nicely balanced. Devine.
This beer was beautiful. AND my fiancé, who hates beer, tried this one, and said "I would definitely drink that." ISO :)

Huge thanks to BeerNFoodDood for this bottle!
poured into crooked stave tulip glass.
batch 12/2011.
bottle number 1476/1488.
Appearance: slightly hazy yellowish orange bodied beer with 2 fingers of white head. Drops down to a thin cap.
Smell: Tropical fruits, mild tartness notes of citrus fruits both lemons and oranges, peppery like black pepper. Mild funk and oak. Hint of a medicinal / herbal note.
Taste: Wow. Thats a nice surprise! This actually has way more pucker factor than I was expecting! Starts off with lemons, orange zest, and melons that are on the low end of moderately tart. Black pepper is fairly noticable with a hint of oak barrel and wheat malt. Really nice brett flavor in this beer it earthy with just the right amount of funk. Finishes with a mild lemon tartness and almost a persimmon or melon like flavor. As this beer warms up the black pepper gets stronger and it has a hint of a medicinal/herbal note.
Mouthfeel: on the high end of a light bodied beer with low end of moderate carbonation. Soft and delicate carbonation that seems to come alive when it passes on the tongue. Semidry finish and its really crisp and drinkable.
Overall: Its actually the most tart of the Wild Wild Brett series of Crooked Stave that I have tried!(I have had the Orange, Blue, and Indigo so far) Really nice surprise from this beer! Complex, easy drinking brett beer. Wish that I had an unlimited supply of Crooked Stave WWB series beers!

A - Pours a crystal clear medium orange with a fizzy white head that has decent retention. It gets more cloudy with each pour.
S - Very floral, corriander, and spices.
T - Lemons, tart, subtle spices. Not much pop.
D - Decent carbonation with a light body. Dry finish.
O - Spices and citrus, nice and tart with a dry finish. Pretty light and mild all-around.

Pours cloudy gold with foamy white head fading into a thin ring. Spotty lacing.
Tropical fruit aroma with tons of brett and some spice with a bit of barnyard funk.
Very bright mango and other tropical fruit up front. Very nice on the front side of the palate. Brett funk then takes over and it finishes a little too spicy along with the funk. Little fruit flavor left in the finish.
Light bodied with carbonation levels a touch higher than I'd prefer, but no major flaw.
Enjoyable beer. 2nd only to Orange as far as the CS colors I've had so far. I loved this one up front and would have rated much higher had it held more of the mango flavor throughout.

Poured in to a tulip. Hazy, golden colored body. 1 finger head that faded quickly.
Aroma is funky with brett and very light notes of cherry. Musty and slightly sweet. Some hints of peppey and orange/mango. Tumeric does stand out a bit but blends in nicely.
Flavor was an interesting blend. Tumeric was noticeable but lots of mango and orange flavors. Some light lemon. Slight honey sweetness, lightly malty. Notes of lemon and a clear brett, farmhouse, flavor profile with some subtle cherry. Mildy bitter finish that was lightly citrusy and tropical.
Medium body, medium carb with a very dry finish. No signs of abv.
Overall its an interesting blend of flavors. Very unique but really nice and easy to drink. Light flavors make for a great summer beer and super refreshing.

Pours a hazed golden straw color with a white head. A really interesting aroma. Tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, lots of citrus, and a tart lactic note. There is an interesting tea-like aroma, menthol, and tumeric as well. The flavor is grassy and mildly herbal. Tumeric is present, plenty of mango and lemon, and a light tartness. A bit of ginger flavor, almost no malt character, and a dry finish. Sort of all over the place, but enjoyable.

Very hazy lemon-peel yellow color. Whipped cream-like head. Lots of lacing, too.
Puckering green apple on the nose. A little citric acid and unidentifiable spice. Not sure what it reminds me of, but it's familiar. Maybe juniper berries?
The taste is a near perfect mix of spices, brett yeast, and sourness. Tumeric, ginger, peach, and cardamom blend with a green apple sourness, fading into just a kiss of hop bitterness.
Just the right mix of spice, sour, and even a little funkiness.
It walks a lot of lines, all of them perfectly.
Really, really enjoyable pairing with spicy food, too. I had it with paella, but I'm certain the intended Indian food pairing would be amazing, too.
One of the best beers of this sort I've ever had
