Not much white head that falls down fast but clings to the edge on a clear orangey body.
Getting some orange and sweetness. I felt it was a little too cold and after warming a tad I got the signature citra pee smell and some more resinous character.
Carbonation and astringency hits the front of the tongue giving way to citrus hops, resin, and caramel.
Decent IPA but I enjoy their collab pale ale more than this.

In the glass it's intense orange, opalescent with a foam, ocher-colored, fine and moderate persistence. The aromas are immediately explosives, used hops (citra, Columbus, Simcoe) give off enticing aromas (mandarin, grapefruit) and fruity (exotic fruit), not missing even a slight hint of resin. The approach in the mouth is decided. Some might remember a D-IPA. Initially gather all the flavors already announced aroma, a nice fruity bouquet, which citrus and exotic fruits. The final is very bitter and dry. All this is well-balanced and harmonious with a long finish that leaves the mouth full of fruity and bitter. The body is medium with a watery consistency and a high carbonation, all characteristics make it very drinkable. Fruity hides very well it's 7% alc.

From Jim's. BB 10/13.
Interesting - another AIPA to write about... It looks the part, smells the part, and tastes the part. All good enough in itself. Notes include citrus, being grapefruit and then sweeter mango and apricot, with a good balance of that and the citrus hop notes on back palate.
Having said that it does not stand out from the crowd, but likewise has no brewing faults.
Solid beer from a long way away. I guess it has travelled well, but Aus brewers should be able to do better given freshness on side. Balance is best element tho....

A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2013. Picked up a little while back from Trembling Madness in York.
Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned. A deep, hazy orange-amber hue with visible sediment and decent carbonation. The yeast expands through the liquid like smoke. Produces a good head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Aroma of fruity hops with a mix of peach, apricot, white grape, melon, pineapple and citrus notes. Underpinned by sweet caramel malt, earthy yeast and a faint whiff of alcohol. A mild hint of sourness and funk in the background (catpiss?); it calls to mind certain Belgian yeast strains.
Tastes of aromatic hops with a malty backbone and a strident bitter finish. Notes of peach, apricot, white grape, citrus, pineapple, melon, caramel, earthy yeast esters and stewed hops. A touch of sourness/funk lurking in the background (though less than the aroma). A warming hint of booze to round things off, followed by a restrained bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth, spicy and tingly, with good body. Feels a tad undercarbonated - could benefit from being more effervescent. Somewhat astringent, with an aftertaste of fruity hop notes, malt and bitterness.
A tasty beer, and a solid effort from this Italian brewery. Very fruity hop notes - quite an unusual range of aromas/flavours (peach!). Good malt presence even if slightly on the sweet side. The bitterness is rather toned down relative to the hop aroma, though perhaps the malt balances it out. The sour hints are odd - not sure if that's down to the yeast or the hop varieties. At any rate, it goes down nicely enough. Worth trying if you have the chance.

30 07 13. 2312 on label
A - Slightly cloudy medium yellow with deeper orange colour in the middle. Thin layer of off-white head.
S - Grapefruit, peach and mango up front with some sweet honey and caramel aromas present as well.
T - Bitter up front with some tropical fruit and grapefruit notes present. A somewhat dank flavour is present at first that somewhat diminished as I continue to drink the bottle. Some sweet caramel present as well.
M - Medium body with some good hop oils present. Moderate carbonation.

A - Pours a hazy sunset gold, with a finger of retentive cream coloured head and splotchy lacing.
S - Citrusy hops, ripe juicy orange, shortbread biscuits.
T - Peach and mango, orange and lemon. Nice bittersweet balance. Bready biscuity malts.
M - Medium to full body, moderate carbonation.
O - A nice flavoursome IPA without blowing your socks off with intense hop taste or bitterness.

Picked this up at my favorite beer store in Belgium, Dranken Geers. Mostly clear yellow-orange pour with a two finger head with minimal retention and decent lacing. The Citra hops are the star of the nose. Resiny and piney with that signature aroma, along with lots of citrus, specifically peach, mango and tangerine. The taste follows through with loads of orange peel, fresh hops, grapefruit, and mango, all very well balanced with a healthy dose of sweet caramel malt action. The mouthfeel is really smooth and slightly oily with a great tangy bitter hop finish. Surprisingly refreshing and drinkable for such a hop bomb. I had this on tap at Braukunst Live in Munich so I knew how good it was. The bottled version almost lives up to the draft, but not quite. Still, an amazing offering from Brewfist.

Hazy golden orange with a thin white collar and lots of floaties. Solid Centennial-ish nose with something sour and slightly pissy (Citra?) underneath.
Fresh white bread with bit of baguette crust and honeydew with spicy white grape pushing through before lime zest and musty hops end.
Pink grapefruit finish and fennel sorbet linger. Light to medium, crisp, slight chew, soft, oily yet astringent.
Hops, according the the website, turn out to be both Citra and Simcoe (along with Columbus) so there's your funk and piss. Definitely distinctive form Burocracy; leaner and tarter than their other IPA. I'm not sure the hops combo is a good idea, and it's pretty merciless (especially with lager malt and no crystal) but it is unique and ultimately refreshing.

Opalescent orange, a bit oo hazy. Average white creamy foam.
In the smell fresh hop, tangerine, resinous and piney notes, bitter.
A good balancing maltiness in the taste, strong and pleasant bitterness, with the same notes of the smell.
Light body, quite long aftertaste, resinous, piney, tangerine.
Good, and well balanced.

Bottle from Beer Deluxe.
A - Dark gold, a little haze, one finger of off white head. Good carbonation. Spotty lace and a film of retention.
S - Citrus fruits, peach, biscuity malt.
T - Peachy, some citrus again, orange. Bready as well with some bitter pineapple. Odd.
M - Good carbonation, light to medium body which shouldn't be so for 7% and a lightly bitter finish.
O/D - Not bad but just a pretty standard IPA. A few off notes like body and lack of bitterness lose it points. Good enough.

Served on tap at local tap house balaclava.
A: extremely good looking beverage. Clean sun orange with low amounts of carbonation rising up the glass and a 2 finger white head which decays to a reasonably think fluffy covering.
S: heaps of zesty orange peal! Some spice but mainly orange being the overwhelming scent recorded on the nose.
T: again some orange, lemon and wow an exploding up front bitterness! A very sharp taste and direct to the point. The thing I don't like is there that it doesnt have the same appealing taste as what the nose and appearance suggest. Astringent, unpleasant lingering flavours follow through down the tounge and stay around the whole mouth.
M: almost sandpapery.. Really not the most enjoyable beer.
O: a great looking beer and smell keeps you interested but that initial taste really doesn't help in any way. I feel as though this would look really good on the cover of a beer mag but no name to say what it is.

Another Italian beer ive been looking forwards to trying and pours a fast vanishing one finger head and hardly any lacing at all,the smell is very citrus with aromas of orange, lemon juice, mangoes, pineapple and sherbet, the mouthfeel is just under medium bodied with nice still carbonation and has tastes of piney citrus infused hops, bitter grapefruit, pineapple, mangoes, only the slightest touch of toffee and finished with a sherbet bitterness and overall its definately a one sided hop affair with the malts playing only the slightest cameo and with a few tweaks of the mouthfeel this could have potential but once again another beer you have to try especially if you like your hops cheers.

Pours dark amber with a small, off-white head.
Nose shows grapefruit, pine and resin. Underneath is caramel and nutty malt.
Flavours include pine and grapefruit, copious amounts of caramel, followed by an assertive bitterness.
Nice thick mouthfeel.

Bottle at Isola Della Birra, Milano. Color dark orange with small white lasting head. Aroma hop, piney, grape, flowers, orange, citrus. Taste sweet, bitter, citrus, apricot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. It’s one of the better Italian IPAs.

Served on draught into a half-pint glass at Ma Che in Roma, Italy. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a two finger head of nice soft cream, great thickness, and excellent retention. Colour is a cloudy semitransparent textbook copper.
Sm: Heavy bittering hops, lemon citrus ester hops, orange peel, and a certain tingly tangy sweetness. Pleasant and complex.
T: Lemon and orange, malt, bittering hops (which are thankfully restrained, avoiding the main pitfall of IPAs), and a full bodied barley foundation. Complex, decently built, and well balanced.
Mf: Smooth, with enough coarseness to bring out the flavours. Wet. A bit too thick.
Dr: High price, easy to drink, and of decent quality.
