The beer pours a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of floral hop notes, as well as some orange citrus and a little bit of biscuit malt. The flavor is a showcase for several different hop flavors. I get a lot of orange and flora notes, as well as some grass. Somewhat surprisingly, I also get some grape and cherry notes and very, very little bitterness or alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Interesting.

Can't believe this has not been reviewed..
Pours an effervscent amber with 3 fingers of cream colored head. Fantastic head retention
S: Pine & grapefruit
T: Pine, grapefruit, & pears, plus pineapple up front. Breadyness & grapefruit slug it out as this warms, dryness, some woody hops as well with some honey malt & pear notes. Finishes with citrus & pine, pineapple & a touch of honey suckle sweetness
MF: Chewy, light carbonation, nice balance & slight grainyness
A nice DIPA, not a world beater, but very solid

Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Opaque amber clay color. One and a half fingers of frothy/creamy beige head. Retention is perhaps a touch below average for the style, but a good sized ring of lacing is left.
3.5 S: Peach, pineapple, and papaya fruitiness. Balancing maltiness featuring caramel and a faint doughiness. Also hints of tomatoe paste, which I'm not a huge fan of. Still, pretty decent.
3.5 T: Tastes like it smells. Fruits mentioned above, caramel maltiness, moderate neutral maltiness, a touch of dough, and some tomatoe paste.
4.0 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Good creaminess to this and super smooth.
3.5 D: It has some flaws, but it's still a pretty good beer. The booze is very well hidden.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a somewhat opaque, orangish amber color. There was a small off-white head on it that didn’t linger too long. It does leave some lacing. Nose is a bit subdued for a DIPA. Orange and grapefruit hops are most dominant. Some pine and grassy notes. The taste is pretty good. Decent malt body under the hops, with a bit of caramel sweetness peeking through. Fair amount of hop bitterness. Orange, grapefruit and some pine notes. Not bad, I’d have another.

A hazy orange amber with a finger of white soapy/detergent like head. Nice amount of lacing as well.
Smells of soap, pine, caramel, fresh cut grass.
a sweet citrusy caramel flavor up front. Grassy bitter hops follow, with a piney soapy flavor in the finish.
a creamy medium body ipa with a nice amount of carbonation. Alcohol warmth is there but subtle.
a nice dipa, more on the bitter side than anything - which I like. Still a nice subtle sweetness to it to even it out. A nice mouthfeel makes this a great one.

Poured a nice dark amber (almost orange) in my glass. It left nice lacing, a white head.
The nose was great citrus. I love that in an IPA/Double IPA.
Then the flavor was also a very pleasing citrus flavor with some notes of tropical fruit. A hint of pine. The malt lended a pleasant sweetness.
The finish was a clean hop bitterness.
I really liked this beer and will drink more when I can.

Initially had this beer on tap... without knowing what i was drinking. I loved the beer on tap and bought it in bottle as well.
I ordered the beer b/c it was a mother's product... my bartender told me it was an ipa. I would have believed it. This double IPA hides the alcohol content incredibly well and i wouldn't have guessed it carries a 9.2% alcohol content.
Hazy orange reddish color.
Orange Citrus, peach, soap and caramel on the nose
A delightful sweetness, with a caramel orange/grapefruit/peach taste. The finish is dry with a good amount of hop presence that lingers on the palate for 15-30 seconds plus.
I am quite a fan of this beer. I am relatively new to double IPA's but i was very impressed.
Caramel covered peachy/citrus goodness with incredible hops? whats not to love?
