Tequesta Brewing Company started out brewing in a small restaurant called Corners Cafe where I've had this beer many a times. The brewery has since moved next door and is now a full fledge brewery. This one is reviewed from memory by this point.
A - Dark Amber/Red with a 1 finger head that dissipates quickly leaving some mild lacing down the glass
S - Big hop profile citrus, pineapple, melon, hint of earth or pine, mild malt presence
T - Tons of Flavor Citrus/pineapple hops some earthy/pine hops and a wonderful roasty maltiness, really amazing flavor at this low ABV.
M - Medium Bodied
D - At 4.3% this beer is incredible. Could literally drink this all night long.

Poured from nitro-tap into a TBC Pint glass.
Color: A mid-dark brown with a tan head.
Smell: Coffee, chocolate, citrus notes.
Taste: Coffee, chocolate, hops, roasted malt, citrus with a nice bitter bite. YUM!
Mouthfeel: Great carbonation, slightly coarse with a dry finish.
Overall: Love the complexity and balance of this brew. Just an all around great brown ale. TBC needs to start bottling more so I can get the word out on this GREAT brewery. Cheers!

Served on tap at the brewery today.
A: Certainly looks like a brown ale. Ruby highlights, off-white head.
S: Roasty, light grassy notes. Nothing too inviting.
T: Bitter coffee, mild tobacco. Hops probably contribute to that. Finishes with a very slight citric twang.
M: Thin, effervescent, and slightly prickly.
O: Not a great example of the style. For the ABV, not much of a quaffer either.

Poured out of a growler into my Duvel Tulip.
A - Deep dark ruby brown pour. No light through this one. Poured about a two inch foamy tan/white head. Spotty lacing.
S - Toasted malt. Citrus. Touch of sweetness.
T - Very nice roasty malt flavor upfront. Has just a bit of sweetness to it. Citrus flavors flow at the end. Grapefruit. Piney as well. Has some bitterness to it. Nice package of flavors.
M - Medium bodied. Medium carbonation and leaves your palate just a bit dry.
D - Oh yes. Drinkable. Seek and enjoy this one. Make a night of it.
* Reviewer is a total homer for TBC brews. Matt the brewer is the man. Reviewer suggests you go and get a few beers and try then for yourself.
