On tap at the Swamp. Served in a pint glass.
Pours a copper/gold color, clear with a creamy white head.
The smell is faint with a mild citrus fruit aroma.
The state is predictable American IPA, a tasty pine flavor, with a mild bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is light and clean.
Overall a very drinkable IPA. Nothing about it is overpowering and and it has a remarkably clean and crisp character. I would have it again.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Live review.
A: Pours nicely leaving a 2 finger cream colored head. Dissipates quickly (under 1 minute). Bronze and dark honey color. Slightly hazy. Looks amazing overall.
S: Sweet and citrus scent. Can't quite determine what citrus. Very sweet overall with relatively strong hops and a decent floral aroma.
T: Initially hit with that strong combo of citrus and sweet malt. Decently well balanced. Could be a little too sweet for some, however it goes down with a powerful bitterness. Love the strength of the hops. Nice strong finish.
M: Slightly heavy. Sits well on the palate. Nice full body. Perfectly carbonated. Everything I could want in a India Pale Ale. This is a true American IPA.
O: Pretty impressed. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I think this is a solid IPA that I would drink again. It hooked me right away with its appearance. The bronze honey color is inviting. The smell is average as far as IPA's go, but it is relatively balanced, has a nice bitter hop finish that you would expect from an IPA and it sits with a nice full body. I would rate this "very good" but not "great". Recommended to any IPA lover but probably not for everyone.

Hazy golden with a dome and rim of fine whites. Smells of Grapefruit, tangerines, malts are a bit oxidized with woody character, biscuit, resin and hints of pine. Decent nose. Taste is balanced with bitterness and sweet malts, the hops are resiny and piny with some grapefruit and a little touch of lemon. Medium bodied with lower carb and a wettish finish. Okay beer.

A: pours a toasted amber ale with near excellent clarity and a transient finger of white foam, falls to a broken sheet of the same. No lace.
S: Smells like grass, weeds, soil, hay, grain and oxidized malts. Not impressed whatsoever.
T: Bitter over sweet malts and cardboard. Some hints of honey on the finish. Not getting any substantial hop flavors, just underlying bitterness. Disappointment.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carb. Semi-dry finish.
O: This beer has no craft in it for me. I'm unimpressed at best. Poor first impression.

Pours with a thin white head. Deep amber color. Aroma is sweet like grilled pineapple, some carmel(maybe a little diacetyl), muted citrus. Has a carmely, orange marmalade front, finished with a dry resiny hop finish. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly velvety perhaps oat, or flaked barley. It is overall a great beer. Being from the NW hoppy beers are abundant and this particular one backs the hops with a pleasant maltiness. When it warms in the glass the aroma of hops becomes subdued and malt comes to the forefront. I would definitely buy this beer again.

Great to see Skip Madsens beers in BC and his IPA does not let me down. Lovely orange shade to the beer combined with a fresh hop nose add to the ambiance. This is not an over the top IPA but a big PNW IPA that is balanced and well finished. There is a dryness to the finish which lets the hops shine . I look forward to more of Skip's beers in our stores.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, deep gold-amber with half a finger of white head.
Smell. Caramel malts, yellow grapefruit rinds, pine and cedar and some tropical fruits.
Taste. Caramel malts and resinous, citrusy hops, some pine sap and a little tropical fruits. Bitter citrus rind finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium+ body, medium-low carbonation.
Overall. Nice and big west coast ipa. I'll buy it again.

22 oz. bomber purchased at Full Throttle Bottles in Seattle for $4.25. No freshness date.
Poured a somewhat chill hazed amber color, with virtually no head despite a somewhat rough pour.
Sweet and citrusy in the nose initially. There’s a caramelish malt aroma as well.
Big sweet tangerine/grapefruit flavor upfront, then it turns to tea-like flavors. Massively unbalanced.
Medium bodied. Carbonation is low. Slightly oily mouthfeel.
Drainpour. I’m really bummed, as this brewery hasn’t made it to my end of the state yet and I’d heard good things about them. Hopefully this bottle is an abberation.

Another one received from Lordkyrstic, thanks for the plethora of beer!
A - very hazy dark yellowish amber, moderate head, enough to notice that backs down pretty quickly
S - Fruity citrus, grapefruit with a good amount of malty sweetness
T - Similar to the taste a good bit of fruity hops and a good bit of malty sweetness, its pretty balanced per se but nothing stands out as strong or a main taste, not bad
O - Pretty good beer, very balanced, maybe a bit too much, not a super strong flavor but not a bad taste at all, its a good beer but nothing outstanding, very well done but still not exceptional

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber with a massive head; great stickage and webs of lace
Smell: Rather balanced, with a big bread and caramel aroma that buttresses a resinous piney/tropical fruit bitterness
Taste: The big malt bill comes through on the tastebuds, providing a bread and caramel layer; the hops hit by mid-palate, bringing a resinous piney character that is rounded out by tropical fruit that builds, after the swallow; there is also a bit of mint in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A bit underattenuated for my palate but certainly as big on the hops as one would expect given the region where this was brewed
Thanks, glkaiser (from the other site), for the opportunity
