The laid back Taproom with indoor and outdoor seating welcomes both dogs and kids (although there's nothing for the kids to do). Located on a commercial/industrial street it's still welcoming for a weekend trip. Since the surrounding businesses are closed in the evenings and on weekends I've never had an issue with traffic or noise. They often have a food truck or a pop up kitchen on site on Saturdays and a few tvs inside and good tunes on the radio outside.
The beer is always of superior quality. Their rotating line of sours, called Sips, keeps us going back: Raspberry Limeade, Tangerine and Sea Salt, Blueberry Lemonade, Pinot and Black Currant et al. They are always experimenting and producing amazing results.
The staff are knowledgeable without being aloof. While they've offered advice and recommendations without judgement for those of us fairly new to craft beer, I would've preferred more prompting the first time I rolled in with a deer in the headlight look. But that's just my take. Honestly after visiting multiple times, they're friendly just not overbearing.
They do tours on Saturdays at 12, 1, and 2. I've only got the Abita brew tour for comparison, but this was a much better experience. Nothing is running so you can actually hear the guide and ask questions.
There's no gimmicks here - no games, nobody pushing anything, nothing glib. They make great beer and they serve it here.

Producing some of the best beers in the south, there is no doubt on the quality here. They have also made noted improvements on special brew releases. What's lacking still is feel and service. Near zero warmth and welcome by the bar staff, almost a "you're lucky to be here" attitude. I'm hoping this changes soon because it's still my favorite brewery in LA , and the suds are delish, but that's not everything.

This is a great brewery! The atmosphere is pleasant with good music. The Taproom is on the small side but with the outside sitting area it really isn't a problem! The taproom was to close at 8pm but stayed open till 930pm which was wonderful after driving an hour an a half for just 2 crowlers and 5 teku glasses of the 4XDH Envie (which i highly recommend). Their tap selection was decent! Grand Reserve, 4XDH Envie, Fuzz, South Coast, Cranbrake and maybe a couple more. I was only there for the 4XDH! No Opus Vert or Ghost in the Machine (heart broken)! Two thumbs up all the way around for Parish!!!

The owner is a total arrogant A-hole. Ales are really good. Can’t brew a decent lager. Staff is snobby and make you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. They are one of the better breweries in Louisiana (and that’s not saying much), but with Marcellos and Total Wine, you can find a wider variety of styles and beers that are as good and better.

Great vibe. Glad the have more of an outdoor area now because the tasting room can get crowded during events. I have never had a bad or mediocre Parish beer. Everything is top notch and superb quality. During releases, the bartenders can get a little overwhelmed making the wait time to get a beer kind of frustrating but on a normal day it is no problem. They usually have most of there offerings (flagships and specials) on tap. You will find something you like. Parish is a great brewery with some phenomenal beers.

Holy shit! This beer just rocked our world. Very well balanced citrus and hops and everything best about an IPA happens in this beer. And as an imperial they manage to steer clear of the usual sweetness. SO well done. If I wasn't on my phone I'd keep going.

Fantastic atmosphere. Great people. Great beers. Ghost in the machine is the best DIPA I have ever had.

Decent location to hang out and have a beer, sample a few of the the breweries best beers and talk to the bartenders. Usually 10 taps going at a time so always something to try....

Considering this is South Louisiana, places like this are far and few in between. Really the only downside is its a pretty small taproom. Rarely is it ever busy enough for this to be an issue. A absolutely love having the opportunity to buy beer including Ghost in the Machine the day its bottled. They always have interesting one-offs and being able to get crowlers are badass. Looking forward to the future at Parish.

My review will be slightly skewed. I found the beer to have a nice variety of good beers. Oddly enough while I don't like flavored beers. They had a very nice strawberry beer.
Now my numbers are skewed because my rating for vibe and quality are down because of the experience. The weather sucked and it was a slow night. It may be cool on a better night.
I will go back if I'm in town. Not making a special trip.

Always try to make it the taproom when I'm on this end of Lafayette. Really cool, relaxed atmosphere, good music playing, but not too loud. Enough to hear all the conversations about beer, brewing, etc. Although there's usually no more than 4 or 5 taps of Parish brews available for a glass or growler fills, there's usually an off-brew or oldie that has been pulled out of the dungeon. The folks behind the bar are always friendly and you can usually catch the owner Andrew there and pick his brain. It really is a treat to have this in my backyard.
