I usually write out the characteristics for each aspect but this beer was just too bland. The smell was almost non-existant. The taste wasn't bad but it wasn't good, just bland. The mouthfeel and the appearance of it are probably the best parts, but they aren't overly special.

A - Only above average, because the clarity and color were very nice, particularly if they don't filter like a larger production commercial version would be.
This is the beer to order for your friend who doesn't like craft beer and prefers very standard fair, best consumed very cold. This was largely indistinguishable from something like MGD. It was a good rendition of the style, but had no standout characteristics that made it particularly noteworthy either.

Appearance - Pours a pale golden color with a centimeter thick head that disappears instantly leaving a frothy film and very nice lacing.
Smell - Has a very nice sweetness to it.. But then smells sour after. There's some spices, maybe clove.
Taste - Toasted and pale malts. Has a weird spiciness to it, like peppercorns and something else.. Also has some strong herbal hops.
Mouthfeel - Light bodied with high carbonation.
Overall - Not a bad beer if you like it on the spicy side.

12 oz. bottle. No freshness date.
Very clear, clean golden straw. Small, off-white head, with not much retention or lacing. Nose of honey, wheat bread, some cereal. Spicy, peppery, herbal hop aroma as well. Nice!
Toasted grains up front. Spicy, peppery herbal hop bitterness follows. Honeyed wheat bread, and faintly sweet cookie malt fill in. Nice balance, and good clean lager flavors throughout. Moderate body with a crisp, lively feel. Refreshing and well made.
