A- Pours a medium gold color with some deeper orange hints. Lots of carbonation and a rather large head or about 3.5 fingers. Head is frothy with lots of retention and good lacing. Somewhat hazy, but not overly so.

S- Traditional skunky scent of a Euro-lager dominates. Not as pungent as others in the style. Some sweeter notes are present and balance out the skunk-like scent. Some underlying light malts and grain flavors in there. Little bit of a hop presence, but very muted and short-lived.

T- Similar to the scent, but more complex. Starts with the slightly metallic and mostly skunky flavor of a Euro-lager, but moves quickly into a grain flavor profile. Light malts add some sweetness before moving toward a very slight hop bite and a little fruity note that wraps up the drink. Hop bite has only slight bitterness, and more in the dull sense than the usual floral or citrus hop bitterness.

M- Highly carbonated, yet smooth. On the lighter end of beers, body-wise. Easy drinking over a long period of time. The perfect weight for a German all day beer garden beer.

Overall, this is the first of the Euro-lagers with the skunky flavor profile that I actually kind of like. Flavor is complex with light grains and malts melding into a slightly fruity and hoppy finish. I can see this as being an everyday with dinner type of beer.
