OK looking, a bit of head and ok lace, dark and typically porter in appearance.
Roasty, toasty, some vanilla and cocoa/coffee aromas and flavors. Tasty!
Very smooth, medium body, cocoa finish.
A very nice porter. Another fine beer from UCBC. I'm really liking this brewery and can't wait to get back to St Louis to have some more of their fine beers!

Enjoyed on-tap @ Tee's Golf Grill in Chesterfield, MO for $7.50. Tapped from the Orange/Wooden Tap Handle into a 20oz Pint Glass. Enjoyed only one at this price! Sheesh...
Aroma- Tons of sweetness and malt starts off this one. Then has a very light roasty background. Very easy going attributes all around.
Appearance- Received with a 1 finger head that is tan and has average retention. The body is the deepest brown you can find, opaque. Leaves the thinnest layer of lace that coats the glass.
Flavor- Good roast, malt, and light hops make up this Porter. Finishes with a light-medium bitterness level. Smooth and nothing huge here. Well balanced.
Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Smooth but slick, and then has a nice roasty finish.
Overall Impression- Like many brews from UCBC, they can be very light in attribute/characteristic but this one clearly met the English Brown Porter profile. Enjoyed thoroughly with my round of golf and hoping to enjoy everything from this brewery! Go for it if you have a chance and in St. Louis (don't bottle yet).

Pours a dark black color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, hint of dry hop, and hint of oatmeal. Fits the style of an English Porter. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Strong bitterness from the roasted malt. Tastes of strong roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of dry hop, hint of syrup, and a hint of dark citrus. Once, your past the roasted malt, the rest of the body in almost watery. Overall, good appearance, blend, and body.

A - pours a brownish black without much head
S - smells of spicy cedar, chocolate malt and some banana
T - caramel malt stars it off a touch of toffee. Turns into a cedary roastiness with a bit of nuttiness. Pretty good nut brown ale and porter combination.
M - a little watery and thin - not bad
D - pretty decent beer - I had a sampler with many tasty beers and really wanted to try some others here. I'll be back.
