This is the Double Dry Hopped version of this amazing Local favorite in Fresno, California. This was just released in bombers 2 weeks ago. It is bursting with flavor from the cap coming off to the last sip. Never disappointed with these guys. Once their tasting room is open, this is a must stop if you're a beer fan and in the central valley.

That is all.

Was in Visalia for my cousin's wedding, dipped into a corner market that was on a shithole website to check out the beer selection and grabbed this for $9/6. Pours a very dark appearance for an ipa, lots of brown rolling deep in this one. Plenty of carbonation yields a nice off white 1.34" deep head. Aroma picks up nicely, lots of pine aroma, makes you think you're tasting the redwoods almost. Mostly (Cartman voice).

Tastes like an ipa with a sticky tree in it. Lots of malt though, this one really pushes the boundaries of what a single ipa is, the seven and one half percent alcohol is there, but not bothersome, they paired up some heftier style malts and in good quantity that it makes that 7.5% warming and enjoyable.

Mouthfeel remains with strong Cascade hop character, this one is strongly hopped with the traditional hop varieties. This beer doesn't skimp on lack of ingredients, its big but not heavy. If they could pack that pine and everything into a slightly lighter body, I think this would be a very good beer instead of just good/pretty decent for a Visalia corner market.

Picked this up at a small-town store that had a few nice beers but nothing I can't get back home... except this one. I'd never heard of it but the tagline on their 6-pack carrier, "Drink Local," guilted me into trying it. Very happy with it.

It's above average overall, with everything I like: strong hops, good citrus aroma and a bit of fruitiness in the taste as well. It's not "like" any beer I can think of, that is, the flavor is unique, but well within the IPA family. This would be a great beer to always have on hand; anyone who likes IPAs would enjoy it, and it's rare enough that a lot of people will have never tried it.

Ice cold pint glass.

A: Straw, golden, nice thick head, decent lacing.

S: Citrus and pine dominant. Malty body and back with a fair amount of bitterness that lingers.

T: Piney, citrusy, bold.

M: Not syrupy thick but a substantial amount of body.

O: Great tasting, bold IPA, not a hop bomb but a tasty 7.5% Love to keep this on hand at my place.

I am surprised there aren't more reviews for this beer. I had one last night when I got home from work. I poured it from a bottle into a chilled glass and as always it had great head that left nice rings as I drank it.

The thing I love most about this IPA is the piney flavor the hop selection in this beer brings. Its mellow yellow color is nothing remarkable but I'm sure it's well within IPA parameters.

I also love the aroma from this beer, again it's piney, gotta love piney hops folks! They have this beer in our local Walmart, I know this is a local beer and maybe it's just so available where I live that I assumed more folks would know about this beer and there would be more reviews.

If you can get it where you live you should, if you like IPAs you'll be glad you did.

Poured into pint glass.

Appearance: Straw color, pours an inch of foamy white head that fades quickly.

Smell: Hoppy, pine resin, citrusy, biscuit malt.

Taste: Hoppy, pine resin, citrus, malty.

Mouthfeel: Light-medium bodied, good carbonation, creamy.

Overall: A decent IPA, tasted as though it may be a bit past its best by date. Not as hoppy as I like, but I tend to love big hop bombs.
