Notes:
Did someone ask for hops? Tired of beers that promise a full lupulin experience, but never deliver more than richly malted bitterness? It’s no secret that this is what we excel at. We’ve been brewing world class IPAs for years. Our flagship is the culmination of a decades worth of studying and brewing. Take a step above and acclimate to what an IPA should be.

Picked this up at the brewery, canned 5/21/13..
A-pours a crystal clear golden apricot with plenty of foamy white head, really nice lacing. Down to our last six pack but I am stl excited every time I see the pour.
S-I think the nose sets this apart, as is true of Heady topper or PtY. huge aromatics, appealing blend of citrusy and slightly dank hops. Hots you with a blast as soon as you open the can and lingers nicely.
T-very well balanced for such a hoppy beer. West Coast styleso lighter on malt but plenty of base for the flavorful hops. Slightly sweet bit mostly just juicy hoppy deliciousness. Excellent.
M-light to medium body, wonderfully dry.
O-among the best. Lives up to the hype and the GABF gold. Worth a trip to ANU all on its own.

look: 3.75 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5
Appearance: Coming out of the can, the liquid lays out in a clear amber; the head is not much to write home about though it does leave some lacing here and there
Smell: Citrusy, with grapefruit and pineapple tones and just a hint of caramel
Taste: Hoppy at the outset, with the grapefruit and pineapple leading to an increasingly bitter experience with just a hint of onion; underneath, a bit of caramel appears but after the swallow, the beer is so well attenuated that it finishes as dry as the New Mexico desert
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a clean, slightly thin finish that really works well
Overall: The finish sets this beer apart; while the hops are showcased with some balancing malt, the dry finish prevents the malts from becoming sticky - a rare feat for a beer that starts out with balance and then verges into a hop explosion
Thanks, sunkistxsudafed, for the opportunity

Poured can into tulip glass (took first drink straight from the can)
Beer pours golden color with some transparancy (good clarity) with a nice one finger bright white head. The aromas were some pine as well as citrus. Plenty of aroma from a 1.5 month old can. The taste has a good deal of citrus, pine resin, and some light hints of tropical fruit. Their is some bitterness on the back end that balances the tasting experience. I didn't notice much difference from the can versus out of the glass on this particular beer. The beer had plenty of carbonation and was not oily/resiny on the tongue. A world class IPA indeed. All of the flavor of many DIPAs.

Clear, medium orange pour, white finger of head, splotchy lace. Tropical fruit storm, sticky sweetness, pineapple, citrus, light crisp malts. Medium bitterness taste, deep tropical and citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine, crackers. Crisp, light refreshing body, clean finish, slick linger. Baby, I'm Elevated to a higher hop power.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Half Acre tulip.
A- pours a dark caramel with a 2 finger off white head. Half wall and big clumps of lacing remain on the glass.
S- caramel, pineapple, grapefruit, some spice and pine.
T- sweet caramel, light toasted malts, sweet pineapple, grapefruit, oranges, it finishes with bitter citrus peel, good amount of spice and pine.
M- medium body and carbonation. Nice creaminess at first with slightly dry and acidic finish,
O- very nice ipa. Big citrus notes, bitter citrus and pine, and nice sweet malt body to help fairly balance this beer.
