Enjoyed at The Common Market at one of their CM.BEER.EDU series tastings with head brewer Todd Boera. Leap Day 2012.
"Belgian Golden brewed w/ Honey & Aphrodisiac Herbs"
A - classic beer look -> clear, golden color with nice, foamy white head that left spotty lacing
S - bee pollen, ginger, maple syrup, Belgian yeast
T - pale malts, honey(dry), ginger, herbs(although i cannot separate them) with peppercorn at the end
M - light bodied with moderate carbonation; long, slow herbal bitterness in the lingering aftertaste
O - too much dry, herbal bitterness for my taste. base seems like it is solid but i cant get over the usage of the herbs.
Serving type: on-tap
