One of the many beers I got to try during the oktoberfest celebration. Amazing night, They know how to do it correctly. This beer was oneof my favorites that night.
appearance: lovely amber glow with nice white fulffy head rentention
smell: citrus/piney hops aromas, some nice grassy, outdoor smells, fresh cut lawn.
taste: tropical fruit and the normal citrus, but also some nice earthy grassy notes as smelled.
mouthfeel: medium bodied, perfect amount of carbonation
drinkability: a solid IPA, good fresh local at that.

On tap at Kickbacks in Jax. Poured into a small snifter. Bubbly white head atop a copper body. This beer is a fresh hop pale ale with simcoe and cascade hops, dry hopped with citra. Lacing is soapy and sticky, retention is high. Aroma is not what I expected. Highly intense fresh hop aroma; pine and spruce, but also something unexpected...maybe raspberry, or as my friend Eddie says: "spicy mango"? Interesting. Either way, smells great. Taste is nicely bittered, mild malt sweetness. Hops are citrusy on tasting with a very nice after taste no alcohol noted. Very impressive, quite delicious.
