Coming from Houston, I am well versed in the Kolsch style ale (Saint Arnold Brewing Co). Jon Boat is quite light--I wasn't sure if it was a Kolsch ale or a pilsner until I read more about it.
There's nothing particularly spectacular about this brew. It's fairly straightforward and what I would expect of a generic Kosch. The beer is mild on all facets. Slight grassy, grainy taste with a mild finish. This beer is very refreshing and appropriate for the hot Florida summers.

A nice light ale for the summer time. Really enjoyed this for the first time at the Floridian Restaurant in St Augustine. It actually tastes like it was made for drinking while floating on a jon boat on a slow river around here in Northeast Florida. Goes great with seafood and it is a very successful ale for what it is.

A- pours a clear golden-straw color with a fizzy white head that reduces to leave just a bit of head floating on top
S- crisp grainy malt, straw, slightly sweet and earthy with some faint herbal hop
T- sweet wheaty malt and a but yeasty, the finish is crisp and bone dry with a hint of grass/citrus linger
M- light and thin body with medium carbonation, slightly fizzy mouthfeel with a slick finish
O- not a bad choice for a hot summer day, very light on the palate and mouthfeel. It serves its purpose, but isn't a choice if you're looking for a boat load of flavor.

I was surprised by this one. I had it straight out of a can and even then it was very fragrant - straight up biscuit. I actually got it poured into a pint glass the next time and I swear it was not as fragrant that way. Weird. But now I go straight out of the can every time.
It was really enjoyable and had a nice tang to it. It has a sort of sour biscuit dough thing going on. It makes you want to keep taking another sip and another. I end up finishing them really quickly.
It's not going to beat out some complex stout but as a session beer it's a real winner. I could drink a dozen of these. I didn't think it was as insubstantial as some here have said. I didn't expect to think much of it but did. Really nice flavor. This has become the go-to session beer for my friends and me. Makes me want to try other kolsches.

No head to speak of on a deep copper and golden clear body. Some lacing. Aroma is musty with pale malts and sweet corn mosty. Flavor has more sweet corn, more of a sweet caramel malt than pale malt. A syrupy and orange citrus finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation and very clean. Overall drinkable but not a stellar beer however has its place.

Jon Boat from Intuition Ale Works 4.5% alcohol... poured into a pint glass.
A- Yellow straw colored fluid with mild carbonated head that drops to a light froth.
S- Sweet corn and dextrin upfront with a light scent of floral hops and tangy yeast.
T-M- Lemon like hops upfront with the rundown of tight bitter floral bite. Average mill of ale malts sweeten this beer to a so so taste. Mild yeast/ dextrin flavor on the afterbite. Watery and lightly astringent finish makes this the hit or miss... mostly a miss.
Good but no cigar for drinkablity...

A- Pale and clear. Pretty light.
S- Nothing special but that is to be expected for this style.
T- For a light ale it as a better than average taste. Much better than the macros but not as tasty as a pale ale. Light hops throughout.
M- More carbed than most micros but refreshing as was the goal here.
It's a beer for those who are looking for a light but want a micro beer.
