Poured on-tap at the brewery in JAX, this beer was poured in a pint glass. The beer is an opaque, hazy, pale yellow color with a thick, foamy, light white head that settles into a film. Good lacing along the glass as you drink. Very light aromas from this beer, with hints of clove spicing. Watery flavors, with a slight toastiness and very minimal spicing. No citrusy notes or other flavors to speak of. Increased carbonation feel to the beer, and combined with the watery flavors, this beer was a bit of a letdown.

A - Pours with one finger of white head on top of a slightly hazy, golden body. The foam dies down quickly and leaves little lace.
S - A light malty aroma with a hint of citrus and clean yeast character.
T - Creamy wheat and very light malt up front with a strong, herbal hop flavor. More herbal hops with a hint of pithy citrus in the middle. The beer finishes with light malt and some tangy wheat as well as strong, sharp bitterness.
M - Medium body, moderately high carbonation, and a very dry finish.
D - Interesting, this is an unusually hoppy example of the style and I would say that it verges on being some sort of hopfenweisse except for the fact that it has no yeast character whatsoever. The hops are minimal in the aroma but strong and grassy in the mouth with an intense bitterness that blows away and trace of sweetness. It is pretty drinkable overall, though the bitterness is a bit excessive and leaves a bit of astringency on the palate in the finish.
