Served in a goblet at the brewpub.
Now all we need is a beer dedicated to today's premier satirical newsrag The Onion... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises grapefruit peel, toffee, and earthy greens. The taste holds notes of sharp grass, light biscuit, very light honey, and a small bit of pine resin. The body straddles the line between hefty light and light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, nearly crisp finish. Overall, a solid pale ale, even if it is kinda forgettable.

On-tap at Haymarket. Served in a 4oz taster glass.
A - A finger of creamy white foam settles to a thin cap, leaving a few splotches of lace. Transparent pale golden body.
S - Aroma is fairly mild, with some grassy and floral notes over a caramel and slightly buttery malt backdrop.
T - Taste is also heavy on the buttered biscuit, with light citrus and grassy hops. Pleasant but mild bitterness in the finish.
M - Medium carbonation, and surprisingly chewy and hefty medium body for a lower ABV beer. Finish is slightly sticky, with some residual resinous hop textures lingering with the aftertaste.
D - Either this is a pretty dull APA, or it faded a lot in the two weeks that it's been on-tap. In either case, Haymarket has better options to fill this niche. No real problems, but not much to make to inspire a recommendation either.
